It could have been better with the smell and the carpet. Guys in room next door make to much racket.
The hotel was grossly overworked and understaffed. While the check-in clerk was kind and courtesous, the lobby was a mess! In honest a basketball conference was being conducted, however at 6pm the lobby should've been cleaned by then. All of the yeah cans were overflowing, the small lounge area had plates with food still on them. The entry hall from the pool smelled of mildew and mold. My tub was nasty and there were hairs on the floor. A kind housekeeper, named Joe asked and attempted to clean the tub again, however the supplies he had were inadequate to rectify the deficiency. Overall, the staff did the best they could with what they had - which wasn't much. Ramadan seriously needs to look into updating and properly staffing the hotel not only with adequate supplies, but in assisting the loyal employees that's still work there!
This hotel is owned by an investment group so it is no where near what a Ramada should be. The rooms are outdated, the showerhead is clearly from the 80s. The stinch of dirty mop water filled the corridor on the side entrance. The pool area was a safety hazard with ladders and carts around the already small area. Water in the shower doesn't drain takes hours. This hotel should be a last resort.
I was billed 2 times. Once over the phone and again when I arrived. $40 difference in the 2 prices. I've had to call credit card company to disput charges. Staff was not knowledgeable on what to do. They would not credit anything back. No coffee I lobby or room. Hotel was very old and dated which I could tolerate but the poor service was unacceptable. I'll never return to any Ramada property
After walking in the room found out there was NO microwave or fridge. So I asked the check in lady what the deal was. She informed me that it was not a requirement for them to have either in the room. Which baffles me. Especially when they have cribs available. So if a parent needs to warm up a bottle how is that one possible. Thankfully the lady did get me a fridge the next day for us to use while we were still their.
Unsafe neighborhood -decrepit, Rude reception manager- talks to guests as he would to a homeless person. His lower employees have better PR skills. Wifi lost internet connection multiple times between 9am and 5pm. There are better places to spend time and without a doubt to hold a meeting.
Perfect location with an AWESOME staff. Everyone was nice and very helpful. However this place needs a major makeover.
Great staff at the front desk both at check-in and check-out...two different ladies both were awesome. The hotel is out-of-date and I will leave it at that. Probably the only reason they haven't torn it down is because they make 90% of their annual revenue the week of the Masters.
Old and run down! After sleeping on a bed that felt like springs with cardboard laid over them, my wife got up, naked, to use the bathroom (THE SAME ONE THE TUB FLOODED IN MIND U). I rolled over to look out the window and i couldnt believe what i saw. 2 men working (or peeping) less that 3 feet from our window. They would have had to have been blind not to see her. You see, the room was on the second floor, they were working on the roof of the conference center witch was right out our window. A phone call would have been nice, a free nights stay would have been better.... this place was by far one of the worst hotels i have sayed in. i have stayed in better road side motels.
We were fine with the Ramada. Several things in our room didn't work and it was a little aged but overall the experience was fine. It's good to stay in a hotel where the staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, walking everywhere you might need to go in the downtown area was fun.
