We stayed in a two bedroom suite. It was ok, very tired in terms of comfort, the two arm chairs are very uncomfortable, the sofa ok. The beds were comfortable though. It had everything you could want but it was just old and v tired. The air con would only turn on if you reset the master switch on it. The area of Parnell is really lovely though. Easy walk to bus stop and Parnell street of good cafes and restaurants.

First time booking this place and I loved it! it had everything I needed. Room was cozy and comfy. Came with milk and tea which was lovely. Shower was amazing with great pressure. There was a perfect view of the sky tower so I was able to watch the fire works on NYE. Then Dinner at gladstone was another added bonus. The fact that you dont have to go round and round for parking is also another added bonus. Would totally stay here again! thank you so much -

Paid the rate for a 2 bedroom with balcony view, but we were given a ground floor room with car park view. When booking the room, the photos and advert for this room showed a scenic view of the Auckland city, although we instead had a bus on day 1 and a car park view for the remainder of our stay. At check in we could see on the form that we were allocated 401 (likely on 4th floor with a view) but this was scratched off and we were alloted 101. I understand that the Hotel might be in their right to give us the ground floor room, although it felt unprofessional. Leading up to our stay I had requested the hotel for a room with a good balcony view, although my messages were ghosted. A simple apology and message is the minimum expected at a 4 star hotel. We again felt a lack of professionalism on requesting for a cleaning service on our 3rd day, I requested this in the morning as were away till 3pm, only to come back and find the room not cleaned. On checking with reception, i was met with excuses, first that the room service only starts after 12 and then after looking at the time the goal post was moved to 2pm. I believe it is fair to expect the room to be cleaned in the morning on the 3rd day of our stay. These few instances of the hotel slacking about and the customer being taken for granted, brought down what would have otherwise been a decent stay

Very spacious, modern, clean and quiet. Also beds were super comfortable (and both large, rather than the more typical 1 queen/1 twin). Also free parking! Only disadvantage was distance from CBD.

Room was spacious, appreciated the kitchen for our 5 day stay. We used the laundry, an added bonus. The air conditioning did not work but the front desk was very helpful. It was cool enough to open the windows wide so that helped. There was a bus stop just down the road which took us right downtown.
