My partner and I were in Auckland for 7 days over Christmas and New Years and this was the perfect place to stay like we were living at home but with almost everything right outside the door! We had a rental car parked in the basement garage - handy for sight seeing and day trips. We were 5 minutes by car to the city center or a 5 minute walk to the buses and the train. The kitchen was well equipped to make cooked breakfasts, lunches and dinners when we wanted to stay in on the couch or at the table both with the choice of an outside view or the extendable LCD TV. The air conditioning and comfy bed enabled restful nights to recharge the batteries! It's central to restaurants, shopping and grocery shopping. The nearby restaurants offer a good mix from fast food to 3 course meals all with friendly staff. The shopping along Broadway covered most things from The Warehouse to fashion boutiques to a Westfield Shopping Mall (although it looks like it's undergoing a refurbishment). There's a mainstream and art house cinema within 5 minutes walk. There's also a swimming pool and a gym all within 5 minutes walk. And lastly - the staff were friendly and professional. The front desk always made you feel welcome when we came back from trips and the cleaning staff were very courteous and understanding on the days we decided to stay in. The staff had the right balance of customer service that made us feel that our apartment was our home away from home.

While in NZ , I injured myself and needed to use a wheelchair. Quest Mewmarket had a spacious one bedroom apartment with a fully accessible bathroom. The well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook some meals, and the proximity to excellent restaurants facilitated some enjoyable outings. All of the staff that we dealt with, from the front desk staff to the cleaning ladies, were friendly while being efficient and helpful. Th.e hotel is also within walking distance of the train for easy exploration of Auckland. We stayed for 2 weeks. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The apartments are very conveniently located in Newmarket close to the shops, restaurants, public transport, and Auckland Domain. Being so central means that parking has to be controlled, but the helpful reception means that on occasion our visitors could use the hotel parking for a couple of hours in the evening. We have stayed in quite a few Auckland motels, but this accommodation is quite different and justifiably more expensive. The units are well fitted out with a full range of kitchen utensils. Having a washer and dryer in the unit proved very useful. The only drawback we found in the one bed apartment was not having a dining table and chairs, but having to make use of the bar stools around the kitchen workbench. The room service was excellent, and the units are very well maintained. For once lighting was good enough to read at night. This was the first Quest we have been to. They are all different, but have to meet certain essential specifications. We will go back and also try in future others in Australasia.

We have stay at the Quest Newmarket a few times now and love it. They have fantastic friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are Clean and comfortable and go the extra with a jug of cold water in the fridge to free movies and internet. Great secure carparking. It is an awesome location with the train station within walking distance and close to all our needs.

We stayed for a few nights at the end of our trip. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our very early checkout very easy. The room was the most spacious we had in NZ and was very comfortable. Our room overlooked a busy area, where the Italian restaurant is, there was no noise. Having the washer & dryer was great. They really thought of everything from filtered water in the fridge to free movies on the TV. The location was great too within walking distance to many shops and activities.

What can I say, comfortable , spotless, well equipped and a brilliant location. The team are so friendly and helpful, they even offered to tumble dry my washing for me as the dryer had a fault and it was Sunday so the maintenance guy wasn't around. The train into town is just down the road and only 2 stops gets you to the city. Great little Italian restaurant just next door. People mention the train line, we had a room at the back where the train line is , it didn't bother us at all, you can hardly hear it with the window shut. The trains stop running about 12 ish and they don't go fast and only ever 1 at a time. The bed was so comfy and the team try to think of everything , there was even a fresh jug of cold water in the fridge already for us.

I recently stayed here for 1 week. The location was great with all manner of shops nearby supermarkets bus to the city and a train station. The room was very clean the staff very friendly and helpful and the room was quite so not disturbed at any time.

We stayed for three nights. A small, well appointed kitchen area with fridge, stove top, microwave and decent storage, glass ware and utensils. Easy check in. Note there is an additional fee for using credit cards. Not a handy location to downtown Auckland or the wharf area but walkable. Easy walk to the Auckland Museum.

Whenever possible this is my accommodation choice in Auckland. The location is perfect and having available car parking space is important to me. The rooms are consistently comfortable and the amenities of a high standard. With many close dining options available this is always a very pleasant stay.

what a great hotel. I didn't expect much from a studio room but it was a great size, had 2 comfortable chairs, fridge, toaster, hobs. the bathroom had a full bath and there was a washing machine and drier. Great linen and towels. There is even a small balcony which makes the room seem much larger. A really nice touch is that movies are free. Front desk staff are lovely and made checking in a breeze. Very close to great shops and restaurants,
