Quest Newmarket

Stayed at the Quest Newmarket over the past couple of days. Well appointed rooms with all that you need. Reception is excellent, I needed some help with retrieving some documents from my office via the internet and the reception team allowed me to use their computer. Simple things make love easy. This hotel is very central to all things in Newmarket, which is the retail capital of NZ (Apparently) Dozens of cafes and restaurants within a few walk. Rooms are a little noisey at night with the nightlife so close, but it’s not to bad. Definitely stay here again

This Accommodation was given to us as a Xmas Present and was just perfect. We arrived to a wonderful reception and very helpful staff. We’re visiting Auckland for one night and this accommodation was just perfect. Parnell is a very up market place and we were on their doorstep. Walking distance to down town but would recommend a taxi back unless you are reasonably fit as it is quite a walk up the hill. The apartment itself was a Studio and was fitted out perfect. Beautifully clean, Kitchenette, Washer/Drier, T.V, very comfortable bed and quiet. Plus all the usual facilities. Car parking is available at an extra cost but well worth it. Would definitely stay again. Felt the price was very reasonable.

The first thing you notice about this hotel is its location. It is surrounded by a considerable number of restaurants and cafes. Its also well serviced for shopping and transport, with buses and trains located nearby. The room itself was modern, tidy and with a small kitchenette for those who prefer to eat in and a modern bathroom with a bathtub. Getting into the downtown area is easy by bus (~20 minute ride) or by train (station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel). Its about a 30 minute brisk walk to the Sky Tower for those feeling more energetic. All in all a great place for a short term stay.

Taxi ride from Auckland airport cost around $70NZD. Upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment - which was very spacious, complete with kitchen facilities and a very large bathroom, too bad my stay was only for 1 night. The interiors were very new and the receptionist was helpful. Did get a reminder door knock right on 10am to check out, so make sure you leave on time.

Great apartment complex right in the centre of Newmarket - the rooms (I have stayed in two) are both comfortable and the owners have tried to make them as sound-proof as possible (the rooms at the back, back onto the railway line). Very clean rooms, large and comfortable

Generally a good serviced apartment complex. I've stayed here many times over the years because of its location and pricing. FYI when you book ask for a street side facing room, not one on the railway tracks as it can be a bit load on the ears when you're trying to sleep.

This property is located within easy walking distance to shops and cafes as well as public transport. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was spacious and really quiet from road and street noise. It was serviced daily and was spotlessly clean. Parking was an extra $20 a night in a safe locked up area. The reception was not manned in evening hours. Would definitely stay again.

Quest Newmarket is a great serviced apartment (we have stayed three times now). It's in a fantastic location right in the centre of Newmarket, the facilities are good (washer/dryer/reasonably stocked kitchen), rooms are clean and a reasonable size and the staff could not be nicer and more helpful. Prices were pretty reasonable (especially as it was Christmas week).

Quest Newmarket ticked every box for our recent stay in Auckland. No hassles with booking or payment, staff courteous and helpful and apartment itself clean, quiet and had absolutely everything we needed. This was our second visit and will definitely stay again.

My partner and I were in Auckland for 7 days over Christmas and New Years and this was the perfect place to stay like we were living at home but with almost everything right outside the door! We had a rental car parked in the basement garage - handy for sight seeing and day trips. We were 5 minutes by car to the city center or a 5 minute walk to the buses and the train. The kitchen was well equipped to make cooked breakfasts, lunches and dinners when we wanted to stay in on the couch or at the table both with the choice of an outside view or the extendable LCD TV. The air conditioning and comfy bed enabled restful nights to recharge the batteries! It's central to restaurants, shopping and grocery shopping. The nearby restaurants offer a good mix from fast food to 3 course meals all with friendly staff. The shopping along Broadway covered most things from The Warehouse to fashion boutiques to a Westfield Shopping Mall (although it looks like it's undergoing a refurbishment). There's a mainstream and art house cinema within 5 minutes walk. There's also a swimming pool and a gym all within 5 minutes walk. And lastly - the staff were friendly and professional. The front desk always made you feel welcome when we came back from trips and the cleaning staff were very courteous and understanding on the days we decided to stay in. The staff had the right balance of customer service that made us feel that our apartment was our home away from home.
