No aircon and far too hot

No aircon and late afternoon sun beaming in on arrival made it pretty uncomfortable. Dont really think you should have to check in this day and age whether or not a property charging that amount has aircon or not

Curates egg - good in parts

Advertised as 2 bedroom. The second bed is basically in a large bed shaped cupboard space - there is no room for anything else, and if you shut the sliding door, you would suffocate as there is no way of providing fresh air with the door shut. There is no air con - to be fair, not advertised, but there was only one fan, and we gave it to our friend who was sleeping in the cupboard! The rest was Ok, it was clean and comfortable, but there is only one small sofa to sit on except for the dining chairs. The view is spectacular. Overall, I'd go as a couple, no more. It's also quite complex to get the keys - from a shop in the viaduct nowhere near the complex, so if you didn't have a car it would be hard. The directions to do so were excellent, it was just unusual! We had no real problems, and the manager contacted us to check everything was fine. Basically, it was, but we just had niggles, as above.

The room and stay was fine, with a nice indoor swimming, access is via an outside path though. It was overly complicated to get the room key. Because there is no hotel manager on site, you have to travel three blocks to another office to get the key. There was meant to be a refundable security deposit on the room, which I assumed would be automatically be refunded. I have now called three times to the guest support line with no success in getting the refund, despite promises from the staff. Would never stay there again because of the complications.
