Nomads Auckland Backpackers

Its really basic. Backpackers mainly though i had a tiny king size bed room. So it was ok. Tiny bathroom n toilet area. Hardly anyone can fit into it.

wouldnt stay here ever again. Ive stayed in different backpackers hostels, this is the worst ever. The only saving grace is that it has a bar on the premises.

where do i start? tried to save on expensive auckland and got a private room with my own bath for $75 US a night before i left the airport as the location looked great. i don't know if the dead cockroach in my bathroom was the worst thing. no, it was definitely the noise above me from the dining room with loud moving chairs all day long with maybe a 4 hour break at most in the middle of the night. i had to take my dirty towels down on the 2nd day and pickup new ones. expected at least that would be done for me with a private room. worried about the construction of this place-at times it felt the building was unsteady and moving. i had to wait in a very long line at checkout to simply turn my key in with all the backpackers staying there dorm-style. if you are out of college, do not stay here. felt completely ridiculous staying here, i wish i had paid twice as much to stay somewhere decent!

I stayed at Nomads Auckland for one night before continuing on to Rotorua, NZ. I was so tired that I immediately fell asleep, but less exhausted travels might have had a hard time sleeping. There was a club directly across the street that blasted loud music well into the night. The carpet in the room I stayed in was dirty, as were the walls. The shower stalls were decently clean, but nothing exceptional. Towels and internet are not free and are expensive to rent/use. Not the worst place I've ever stayed, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Excellent location at a good price. Rooms were not perfectly clean but the hostel is good enough if you only there to sleep. Staff was friendly and helpful

It is conveniently located and has facilities for cooking and storing your groceries. If you are not spending most of your time in the room is recommended. There is no hot water when you need if you are staying in the sixth floor.
