Beautiful room, wonderful staff, breakfast was very good. Rooms came with fridge, coffee maker for tea and coffee with cream and different kinds of sugar. You can use their laundry facility. Close to Sparks Arena and the Civic Center. You can walk to the Ferry and there’s stores, the Auckland Museum and restaurants practically a few blocks away from the hotel. They’ll even store your luggage. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is so tired and smelled so ghastly in the hallways. The room could not be cooled. No outlets by the bed. The star of the show was the bed and pillows which were top shelf

The staff is really great. Location is ok, though restaurants are a good 6-7 blocks away. If you take a left out of hotel, good neighborhood. If you take a right…not so much. Rooms desperately need updating and a deep clean. I was there for 3 nights and changed rooms twice. The first, had a gorgeous view and somewhat quiet- but smelled of mold. The 2nd room, not nearly as quiet, furniture was really beat up, don’t walk barefoot stained carpet, and flooded while I was out on a tour. 3rd room, overlooked a construction site but was cleaner. The staff did immediately move me after the flood and comped my breakfast and gave me tickets for free cocktails. Not their fault, and they did the best they could. Copthorne management needs to do a better job of upkeeping their property. Overall, ok place to stay if you just need a place to end a busy day of touring!

Would have liked cups in the room to be bigger as so tiny had to make 3 cups every time . Only 2 english breakfast t bags im british enjoy several cups of tea. Staff great . Enjoyed breakfast. Would have been nice to have brochures on display so could decide where to visit or maps where to go.
