Good location

Overall, a good place to stay in Auckland CBD with great views out to the harbour. Very comfortable bed and the room was nice with thoughtful touches. A couple of "not geat" things include "check-in" or "key collection" where a random guy was sitting at a tiny little table at the Luggage Office Hotel. He swore in front of us because his phone rang while he was trying to give us our key (which was only him looking through 4 envelopes for my name). It was very weird and not the kind of service you would expect when paying $600+ per night. We did find the main bathroom very small for a 2-bedroom apartment where 5 people were staying. I did have a lot of issues once I had booked, having chosen "pay at hotel" I was actually charged 41 days before check-in including credit card fees and a bond (as per their apparent policy but not what I booked through hotels.com), I did receive a refund for the credit card fees and deposit but still had to pay the total sum 41 days in advance.

Nice and spacious apt in two levels with views of the pier. A busy spot for boats going in and out of Auckland. At 2am we heard drops of water in the downstairs bedroom and found water leaking from the ceiling and down the wall behind the wallpaper. Didn’t make anybody wet and we managed to squeeze the two kids into the remaining beds for the rest of the night. Told front desk in the morning and then we left. I’m sure they are taking care of matters. (It had been raining all night). Parking in the shed is a little tricky but doable. Except for the 2am surprise - a really neat spot for exploring Auckland.
