Embassy Suites Atlanta - Buckhead

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Front desk clerk was so helpful but the hotel needs updating. Our beds were so uncomfortable (worn) and bathroom was really in need of an update and strong clean.

My first room was smoked filled. I was moved to another. Upon moving to 2nd room, thermostat did not work, phone would not work & remote control would not work.

I like that the hotel was kid friendly and in the perfect location for shops and restaurants

We have traveled to Atlanta many years now to attend the SEC football game . We have stayed in the Embassy Suites for the past 3 or 4 years. Great location for. Lots of restaurants nearby. It is easy to get to the MARTA train system to get to the game. We will stay here again

I live the Embassy Suite business model.....two room suite with cocktail hour and full breakfast. The Buckhead ES is clean and comfortable. I wish the parking fee wasn't so high, but I think most of the Buckhead hotels charge something I the range of $25 per night or so. Check in and out was very efficient.

Good price for hotel... Don't miss the reception if you are a drinker. Nice rooms...

The first thing I was told, after I waited in line for 20 minutes to check in at 4:30, was don't hate me if your room isn't ready. I'm just the messenger. Uh, ok. She proceeded to tell me that they were way overbooked, so everyone has been yelling at them because they don't have any rooms. Well, I would be upset too, if they didn't have a room for me. When hotels overbook, I am completely turned off. The room was fine, but dated. The whole place needs some work. If you great deal, go for it. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere.

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms nicely appointed and in a very desirable location. Would definitely stay there again!

Had a one night stay in Atlanta...only issue was WiFi connection was flaky. Breakfast was good as always...and happy hour was relaxing and met some nice people.

Good, but there was no hot water in the room. The room was clean and well suited. There are two parking options, i.e. self parking and valet. The difference is around 5$. The parking costs around 25-30$.

Great location. Nice property. Very comfortable room. Shower had hot water - then cold only water - you really couldn't take a shower in less 30-40 minutes. Staff was great - but no help on the water. Breakfast was OK. I would recommend the hotel based on location mostly - but I would disclose the water issue.

We were in for 4 days / 3 nights, during this time our room was not serviced once, we had to call twice for fresh towels, wi-fi did not function, only one functioning elevator in a high rise hotel. The complimentary drinks every evening in the lobby were nice, as was the location. The location was not bad and plenty of public transportation around. Probably not the worst experience but I definitely expect more for the money.

The facility is showing age and not adequately cleaned. Our bathroom was not clean on arrival. The elevator floors were very dirty. However, the afternoon reception and morning breakfasts were good.

Within walking distance from Buckhead station, great walkability to dining and shopping. Professional staff, clean room and comfortable work space.

It was a great experience I enjoyed my stay staff is wonderful and the location is magnificent

The bed was very confortable, the room was clean. Nice breakfast.

Morning breakfast included but quality only so-so. Coffee needs changed.

Great Stay in a most convenient location. Beautiful Hotel that is clean and very updated..staff was wonderful!

The room was clean and quiet; the atrium lobby was super loud; the free breakfast was not well laid out and the food was not very good. The servers and valets were efficient and very nice, but the front desk clerks were rude, patronizing and unhelpful and I won't return to this nor any other Embassy Suites because of them. Overall, not a good value.

Went back and forth as to take a gamble on the embassy suites or the 5 star Intercontinental. Since I had to pay for 4 rooms I choose the cheaper option to save money. Boy was I surprised at the atmosphere and amenities of this hotel. The lobby is relaxing with the water feature. The staff was excellent. Enjoyed free breakfast and happy hour. Didn't like to pay for internet and parking was $20. Room was neat but not deep cleaned. The suite room was large and comfortable with 3 sinks. I will definitely stay here again.
