Location was excellent. I booked this back in July and me and my 16 year old son was expected to share a Queen size bed. That couldn’t work so we took turns sleeping on the floor. Terrible..

WE LIKED THIS HOTEL VERY MUCH. THE FRONT DESK PEOPLE WE WONDERFUL. HELPED US WITH THE ON LINE CHECK IN FOR OUR PLANE SPOKE ENGLISH LIKE A NATIVE AND GOT US AN AMERICAN EDUCATED, ENGLISH SPEAKING DRIVER TO PICK US AT THE PORT FROM OUR CRUISE AND A FOUR HOUR TOUR AFTER THAT RECOMENDED AND TOOK US TO A RESAURANT BY THE SEA AND THE NEXT DAY DROVE US TO THE AIRPORT. THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN WITH COMPLIMENTARY TOILETRIES. GOOD EXPERIENCE.

Near Acropolis museum and Acropolis. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffet and the hotel was very clean.

Very close to sights and metro. Quiet area. Good, hearty variety for breakfast. Excellent water pressure and steady temperature.

Parking was very limited. No help with luggage. No spot to short term park for check in. Accommodated an extra hour past required check out time.

This hotel was our last stop on a long journey through Greece, and our stay was excellent for a short stay in Athens. We had three to the room, and the Hotel graciously prepared the beds/bath area/miscellaneous items for each of us. The room itself was very clean, had ample closet space, and was done up neatly by the cleaning staff. We also enjoyed how close it is to the Acropolis and Plaka area, making it a wonderful pit stop for all our sightseeing and shopping. Although Hera Hotel is not the most modern place to the stay in the city, it fill all our needs for a comfortable and luxurious visit to Athens that refreshed us before the long trip back home!

The restaurant on top is a must! The food is amazing, the view is amazing. The location was perfect!

Check in was friendly and helpful. Great to have off street parking Included. Beds were comfortable, Air conditioning worked well, bathroom was nice and functional – move the toilet paper when you shower or it will get wet. Rooftop dinner has fantastic view of the acropolis, and the calamari was exquisite- be sure to order the bread and dipping (kalamata olives). Great breakfast in a beautiful room. Helpful friendly staff. 2 blocks from Akropolis Museum. Highly recommended!

Pushy staff, inattentive to our needs, over priced for the value.

Great location close to the metro! Really clean and friendly staff!

We were excited about our international trip. I accidentally double booked our first night at the hotel. As we were checking in, we were greeted by the concierage. He asked why we had two rooms, and I explained the situation. At the same time, another guest came downstairs complaining of their room and the noise they could hear from the other rooms next door. They wanted to switch rooms. Without asking, he offered up one of the rooms that I had booked, since I was only going to need one. He never offered to give me my money back, although, now the hotel was using the room that I had paid for. We get up to our "suite" which is a large closet. We were supposed to have a king bed and it is two twin beds pushed together, not even made as one bed, but two completely separate beds. The air conditioning doesn't work and our room is muggy. We were supposed to have a view of the Acropolis, but instead we look out to another building in the city. Like I mentioned, we did have another room that we could have switched too, but the concierage gave the room away. Completely frustrated by the situation, I went downstairs and asked if he accidentally gave our suite to the other customer, and since now they were full, could we at least switch our room the next day for the remaining two nights we were staying. He was extremely rude and said that if I just walked out my balcony that I would see the Acropolis and I already have a nice room, and no we couldn't. I would never recommend.

More than pleased. Staff a delight to be with and banter with. A m%ajor, very unusul, Thunder/rain/windstorm hit Athens wile finishing dinner. Staff and customers worked together, laughing and teasing, to hold back the sliding walls around the restaurant. A fantastic and fun adventure to add to a great trip and evening. Close to all the best of Athens. Great hotel and people! Choose the Hera, and enjoy your stay! View from Restaurant in photos

The location is wonderful for walking and restaurants and shopping. The staff is polite but they seemed a bit short with their responses. The air conditioning was not on because of the season but the room was very hot. The cleaning staff disconnected the cable for the television and i only found out how to fix it when calling the reception- apparently it's a common occurrence. Overall no real issues, but not luxurious treatment

Muy céntrico, cómodo y con un excelente servicio. El desayuno otro plus
