My first time in a hostel and it was better than some hotels I've stayed in. Free breakfast and wifi, friendly staff, facilities cleaned daily, great location in a nice quiet neighbor, 5 minutes walking distance from the Acropolis, grocery stores, many restaurants, shopping and the metro. Great quality for the price. The only negatives I would offer are that there are no towels provided and there appears to be a mold issue on some of the ceilings.

Excellent location, close to the subway and the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum.

I had never stayed in a hostel before. I will never stay in a hostel again. I discovered I don't like staying in hostels. If you do then this one was clean and close to everything and not a bad way to go. The only problem I should warn you was the shower was either freezing or burning. Otherwise if you like hostels than it's fine.

I enjoyed my stay there. It was super close to being in the center of Athens and a great price. My tour agency was within 3 minutes walking distance so that was very convenient. There are plenty of places to eat nearby with authentic Greek food. *****

Close to all major sights including acropolis, ancient agora, plaka dining, flea market, parliament. Walk to everything. Room itself was comfortable with strong air conditioning (super important in the summer), in room small lockers the we use like a safe (not big enough for suitcases/backpack; bring your own lock)!and proper shower. Breakfast buffet included boiled eggs, omelette, ham, cheese, bread, instant coffee and tea. Fine for a quick start in the morning. This a quite social place where I met a few friendly fellow travelers at the rooftop bar and breakfast and traded stories about our journeys. Great view of acropolis at the roof top bar where drinks are eur5 and souvlaki eur1.50 per stick. A few nits (nothing too unusual for hostel living): no towels provided (I brought my own), can be a little noisy (bring ear plugs and eye shades) and charges for storing luggage (?)

They say its always good to try new things so I am glad you tried it. We have fantastic private options like 1,2 and 3 private apartments and studios. Next time you should try one of those. You get all the social aspects yet your own space to sleep in at night. Thanks for trying us though.
