Good value, good air conditioning, convenient location, good wifi

10-15 minutes walk from all the touristic things.2 minutes walk from the metro station.very convinient. Very friendly staff. A big clean room. A nice buffet breakfast included. I would recomend parnon hotel as a nice budget hotel.not a luxery hotel but just what u need for a touristic hotel in athens

Parnon is an excellent hotel. It has an excellent location in central Athens. Very good breakfast provided every morning. Staff is outstanding and very accommodating. The room cost was very affordable.

The hotel itself was good, however the location was a bit on the shady side. Very closely located to metro so it was easy to get around which was very nice! The staff, breakfast and room were worth it!

Very nice, clean and right in the middle of downtown Athens/

WE HAVE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL SEVERAL YEARS NOW AND WE HAVE FOUND THEIR ROOMS ULTRA CLEAN,SHOWER CLEAN WITH PLENTY OF HOT WATER AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY OR NIGHT, THE BEDS COMFORTABLE. THE LOCATION VERY CLOSE TO THE METRO AND RESTAURANTS VERY NEAR WALKING DISTANCE WITH GOOD FOOD. THIS HOTEL HAS VERY REASONABLE RATES FOR ALL CONCERNS, THE MANAGEMENT IS HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY OFFERING ADVISE AND DIRECTIONS TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. WE RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY. WE FOUND NO BUG!

We asked for a queen bed and got two twin beds. I/m not sure they know what a queen bed is. The hotel was close to the Sightseeing Bus, the underground rail/subway, the post office, some good restaurants and bakeries. We could also walk to different sight seeing areas. The nightlife was a little scary as there were ladies of the night although they did not both us.

Okay. I clicked that the location of this hotel was bad... which it was in a sense, but was great in other senses. It's very convenient to the metro and to a lot of the tourist areas (Plaka, the Acropolis, the Archaeological Museum, etc.). However, my friends who were living in Greece for the summer were shocked that I had chosen a hotel in Omonia, because of all the drug problems in that area. We did experience that a little, but I would definitely stay at Hotel Parnon again. The hotel let us store our bags there for a weekend when we flew to Santorini, and let us add an additional night to our reservation on very short notice. I was very impressed by the quality for the price. My only caution would be the drug thing, but I'm not sure that that would have been absent in other parts of the city anyway, and if you're vigilant it shouldn't be a problem. Also, the breakfast was huge and delicious.

The hotel is fantastic, impeccable. Breakfast as well. Great internet and 1.5 blocks away from metro, 15 blocks away from Acropolis. yes, the area is rough at night. You may see drug addicts in the street or prostitutes in the area, but the police station is one block away. Like in all big cities, pay attention and life is good. This hotel is super and great value for money

Metro was close once you had a good feel for the location. Would have been hard to find on my own without taxi. Spent a lot of time going to the Plaka (just south/we walked). Staying at the Plaka was twice as expensive. This location was next to a corner where street walkers advertised. Did not bother us at all. 24 hour coffee shop was very convenient with friendly personnel. Breakfast was plentiful. Free internet and WiFi. WiFi only available on first two floors. (Not really a problem.) Room kept clean and tidy. Rooms have been renovated with nice shower facility, though small.

Athens to me is magic. Is a huge city that has everything in it: great weather, super friendly people, good food, good drinks, great night life(things really start stirring after 9pm!), tons of shops and tours for every budget(from daily bus tours with super friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides to 7-day-tours to islands or even helicopter tours at decent prices), day or night tours plus a lot of history...Athens really is actually a huge open-air museum. I just loved it to no end and can't wait to go back there!

*Enjoyed the free internet. *Bad location. *Walked a lot.

If you take a picture, straight on, of the hotel entrance it looks like a tropical oasis. Shift your gaze right 20 feet and the streets are thick with prostitutes and johns at dusk. The hotel staff were polite but not overly helpful. The room smelled horribly of smoke around 2:00 a.m. - must have been surrounded by smoking rooms. Bottom line, it's close to the archaeological museum and the metro. However, there must be better for the money. One other thing - beware the front desk personnel trying to keep your passport. Never, ever leave your passport with anyone while traveling. After insisting that we would not leave a passport the front desk clerk quickly filled out his required logbook and handed my passport back!
