The house is clean, has a comfortable living room and bedrooms. There is off street parking and the kitchen is large and equipped for cooking. We enjoyed our stay and it is very close to the university, shops, and restaurants.

I tried reaching out to the property manager before posting a review, but didn’t receive a reply. The property looks as is described in the listing. We had a decent stay with a few complaints. The property appeared clean upon check in. The beds were comfortable enough. The four bath towels provided were musty. I just happened to have two beach towels in my car that we used. Sunday morning as we were preparing to check out we saw a huge roach in the kitchen. As stated, I emailed the property manager regarding the issues, but didn’t receive a reply. I understand things happen, but wanted to give an honest review.

It’s about a mile walk to downtown Athens which I didn’t mind. It is an uphill walk coming back to the house. The landscaping needed some work and the apartment behind the house, but overall the house was quaint. Comfortable beds, shower worked but the bathroom was tight. Only room for 1 person at a time. I am a clean freak so the house was a little dusty, mainly the baseboards and horizontal areas like the shelving. Lighting was confusing in the living room as we could only get one light to work over the sofa. Overall the experience was a quaint 2 bedroom/1 bath cottage with updates and it served our purpose well - to visit Athens and go to the football game, experience downtown.

Eclectic and comfortable

Clean, comfortable and convenient to downtown. Updated kitchen and bathroom with plenty of hot water. We were here for our daughter’s sorority parents weekend and it was an easy Uber to downtown. Lovely walking trails at Trail creek nearby. At one point during the weekend, The lock box code was not working, and we had an immediate response from the management with a new entry code. Lovely stay and will stay here again!

Perfect Place

My colleague and I enjoyed our stay during our time at our conference. I enjoyed the professional and warm atmosphere at the home, creating a comfortable "home away from home" experience. We loved the decor! The inviting ambiance made my stay memorable, and I highly recommend it for a pleasant stay. My favorite area was the living room that has two chairs with ottomans. It was like therapy! These chairs were heaven sent especially after a long day filled with workshops at the Classic Center (only minutes away). I would gladly rent this home again!

Nice location

We visited for our daughters sorority parents week and football. The house is located close to downtown and the stadium. The neighborhood is quiet. We parked the car for the weekend and walked or Ubered. We would definitely stay there again next time we are in Athens.
