The rooms were extremely clean. The breakfast was delicious and very affordable. The neighborhood was loud at times during the night. Overall it was a great experience.

Very nice staff , free parking and hotel near city center.

Once inside the Hotel was 5 stars. But the location, while being great as a starting point wasn't the best to venture out into the neighborhood.

Everything was excellent except new menu rotation on the breakfast meals were needed. They served the same thing daily. The front desk was very helpful and attentive. Room were cleaned daily. Extra pillows were provided as asked. Kudos to all personnel. Wish the area was in a better neighborhood it was very intimidating with locals loafing. Very close the the metro train however please play very very close attention to your belongings, in a blink of an eye one of your cell phone was pocketed. Yup tourist victim. Sorry this is not part of the hotel commit but just awareness to all our Orbitz family.

Centrotel is an excellent budget hotel in reasonable (20-30 min.) walking distance from main tourist sites (i.e. National Archaeological Museum, the Acropolis, etc.).The staff was very friendly (greeted us with a complimentary drink) and helpful in directing us to eateries and supermarkets (all nearby within a few blocks of the hotel). Our room was very clean, the balcony delightful, and the room had excellent blackout blinds. The beds are extremely hard however, so if you have back issues that preclude you from getting a restful night's sleep on a hard mattress, book elsewhere.HCentrotel is an excellent budget hotel in reasonable (20-30 min.) walking distance from main tourist sites (i.e. National Archaeological Museum, the Acropolis, etc.).The staff was very friendly (greeted us with a complimentary drink) and helpful in directing us to eateries and supermarkets (all nearby within a few blocks of the hotel). My husband and I had planned to stay at the Centrotel on our last day in Greece but the mattress discomfort made us rebook elsewhere notwithstanding the other positives. The hotel is also clearly in a less than affluent area so reasonable safety precautions should be taken.

Once you enter the front doors, it's easy to forget the rougher neighborhood outside. Our room was immaculate. The staff was kind, friendly and consistently professional. I'd stay here again any day and recommend it without hesitation.
