I stayed there one night in between flights and I couldn't believe how dated the hotel was. Thankfully I got a really good deal, otherwise I'd be very upset I spent the going rate on this old, run down, distastefully decorated hotel. The bedroom are old too and the light sockets look like they are going to explode everything you press them. Beds are not very comfortable - old spring mattresses that make weird noises when turning. The "breakfast" is a very poor selection of bread and cheese, with a few add ons. Staff are friendly - but that's the only good thing about this hotel, alongside its location.
It's reasonable hotel, a little bit old, good front desk services. Starbucks is just next door - very convenient. It's a 3 star hotel. Breakfast is very simple. Good air conditioning. Worth the price. It's not a place to hang on , just to take a good shower and sleep.
We stayed at the hotel for one night and the hotel while showing some ageing furniture, was clean, with all the comfort you can expect. The location is quite close from the center. The reception person was also very kind in accepting a package and prepaying for me (from own money) even if I had not checked out yet. Thank you very much again.
This was like travelling back in time. Stayed one night and it started badly when we got into the rooms and saw the '70's decor! Then we went for a quick bite to eat at Goody Burger (horrible, horrible place) and when we got back and turned on the kids room light, our youngest jumped a mile when a cockroach ran out under the sideboard. Having despatched the monster with my size 10, I immediately went to reception to request some spray. They sent up a member of staff who proceeded to spray the corners of the room and behind the curtains. He opened the bathroom door and yelled in shock that there was a huge one which he then proceeded to empty half a can of bug spray onto before collecting it up in some tissue. He sprayed the rest of the bathroom and into the air vent (I suspect this is where they had come in). He then opened the balcony door to help get rid of the now acrid fumes in the room from the spray. My 12 year old son, now coughing and choking on the fumes, was naturally scared of the room and it took some persuading to calm him down ready for sleep after of long exhausting day. The next morning we were treated to some of the most bizarre musak in the breakfast room I think I have heard. Saxaphone and pan pipe versions of George Michael and Leo Sayer tracks, plus some random '70's hits turned weird... All in all, the hotel staff were fine, but honestly this hotel has seen it's day and needs completely overhauling. The only upside is there's a great Starbucks across the road and if you're that way inclined (which I am not) there is a late night strip club next door... enough said..
When I checked-in on June 24, 2017, Antreas greeted me with a poker face. He told me about the wifi connection in heavy English accent, but I did not pay too much attention. After a long flight to Athens, what I want first is a cold shower. Besides, the logon ID and password are usually on the key card. I later found out that the ID and password on the card are incorrect. I came down to the front desk and asked him again. Did I make him annoyed or did he have a bad day? When I said thank you and left, he said something nasty behind my back. I am not stupid, Antreas! I heard it. This is my first visit to Greece and Antreas is the first Greek whom I talked with. If you don't enjoy your job, please find another one. I nominated you the worst employee of the year award. on This is my first visit to Greece.
The hotel is located in a nice and quiet area and it is in walking distance of everything. There is plenty of resturants in the area and also a supermarket near buy. The rooms are standart, and one big plus is that there is air conditioning. The breakfast is alright and the hotel staff is friendly. Definitely a Hotel I would recommend for first time visitors in Athens.
This hotel is located in Michalacopoulou Street close to Syntagma Square in Athens. Is very simple hotel , clean and the best destination if you plan to stay there as a bussiness - traveler.Excellent service and very helpful staff.
The Hotel is very dated: corridors, room,s lift...My room possibly had been cleaned but the carpets are so old that it smelled. Bathroom simple but OK (shower door did not close correlcty, so that I caused a flooding..). Breakfast below average for the price. I will not return, at least until it is renovated. Internet OK.
Came with a group of 10 students on a school trip. It was the better of all the other hotels we stayed in on the trip, but still just OK. The air in the room was just about useless luckily it was April, I can't imagine it in July. The soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower were nice, but empty. My room was oddly shaped resulting in the corner of the bed being so close to the desk you had to wiggle past it.The wireless worked ok. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was a disappointment with some undercooked bacon, some eggs and what looked like little smokies. Some ceral, yogurt, canned peaches and a variety of bread rounded out the offerings.
We visited Athens for a family wedding. Loved the location as it seemed a quiet neighbourhood and felt at home quickly. There were several lovely restaurants very close and a fabulous hairdressers almost across the main road that did an amazing style for my daughter. We could walk into Athens or take the super clean metro. Felt totally at home there. Had a lovely room right at the top of the hotel. Very clean and friendly. Would definitely go there again.
