The property had an excellent view of Lake Superior, and it was clean and well kept. The white shower caulking was discolored brown in a small area.

Beautiful setting if you have a room with a view of the bay. We were booked in a room overlooking the pool and the room had a strong chlorine odor. They moved us to a room overlooking the bay and it was very nice. Good breakfasts are included in room price.
Very little to do here. Very few restaurants. Little shopping. No tourist attractions.
Wish breakfast was included. Mattress needs to be replaced. Otherwise, was very nice, comfortable and clean.

Lives up to and exceeds the quality and comfort and amenities you'd expect for the,price. There's a lake view from the breakfast room ( extra charge for breakfast). and from the pool. They even make,fire wood available for the fire pit that is right on the shore. The bed and,sheets provided us with our best night's sleep during the twelve days we've been on the road. It's on the west end,of Ashland making it a few miles closer to Bayfield. Truely a quality place.
We stayed there for the long weekend, the room was clean, nice location on the Lake. The only dissapointment was the complimentary breakfast...they are serving the same coninental breakfast as all other hotels, but you get one plate of your choice..We are not a huge eaters, but even the kids stayed hungry...besides we were waiting for this cheap breakfast for more than half an hour...finished in 5 minutes. I don't think if anyone ever seen the waitress smiling...
This hotel was a pleasure to stay at, ample parking, great service, fantastic room! We stayed 2 days and nights, and will definitely be staying there again! Even the pool was great, very few people seem to use it. Didn't use the exercise room but did check it out, clean & plenty of equipment.
The hotel is right on the lake. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast is a nice service but takes awhile because it is restaurant style.
Comfortable beds, beautiful view, delicious breakfast! Did not appreciate the alarm going off at 6 a.m.. We left a polite note for staff about that. And a minor, but annoying, issue with flies in our room.
