Our lake view room was right behind the outdoor patio so we had to keep the blinds closed so we didn’t awkwardly connect eyes with everyone out there. Also it was loud the entire night until 1am and then morning folks starting making noise at 6am. We wanted a lake view but completely regretted it because of the terrible room location.

Unfortunately maid service was only one in 3 days. Bathtub wasn't draining properly. Phones from the room weren't working, Kids liked the pool slides. It was convenient in terms of location.

What a great hotel! Staff were so friendly, and the location is amazing. We had a room overlooking Lake Superior with direct beach access. The staff person checking us in switched our rooms to the "pet room" so we could go out our door to walk the dog...such a nice feature! The hotel provides free lawn games, inner tubes, and grills for guests. There were chairs down at the beach as well. The pool and waterslides were fun! Only complaint was that the lifegaurd was on his phone or looking like he was sleeping his whe shift. Would definitely recommended this hotel!

The towels and room make up word schedule every three days rather than daily. They did accommodate us by allowing us to change to another room the second night

Very dirty. Toilet was clogged. Bed sheets soiled.

Old place, not comfortable beds. Breakfast they offer is a joke. COVID is a just good excuse for them. Location and the view to the lake are awesome.

Our room had a musty smell to it. Our room wasn’t cleaned the second day we stayed - maybe that was new protocol based on Covid? We had to go down and get our own towels since the ones from the previous day didn’t dry in the room. We had a nice view of Lake Superior. The pool area was nice, but water slides were open limited hours in the evening that didn’t work for us. Again maybe due to Covid?

Understaffed, not enough towels, washcloths, pillow or sheets available for sofa bed. Its advertising is as a splashland Kids went down to pool on Sunday and all slides closed front desk stated only staffed and available friday & Saturday which is not on websites or disclosed. No maintenance available tub wouldn't drain at check in waited 2 days husband finally asked for plunger to fix ourselves, so short at desk waited 30 mins and desk had life guard bring up to room, which he closed pool area to do. Breakfast was a grab & go due to covid which was understandable but limited to oatmeal packets, yogurt & granola bar. Reserved lakeside room 1st floor was booked in street side 2nd floor, sold out rooms but wouldn't rven offer to fix error., rooms not being cleaned, pe OP ple putting trash cans full in hall hopefully to be cleared sat for 3 days, was still there from same rooms at check out.

They had a lot of unique amnesties to offer for a small town especially

Our 2nd time staying here. We knew not to expect the same conditions as a Hilton, but was shocked and disappointed with what we were given. We arrived late on our first night and was given a pet friendly room. We had no pets. The overwhelmingly smell of cat urine was absolutely disgusting. The carpet was sticking to our shoes. We opened the back door and turned on the ac to get some air movement and to air out the room. I went to the front desk and was given a bottle of home made febreze, which the bottle didn't even work right . We dribbled febreze everywhere. When we finished I took it back and asked for another room. I was told there was another room of guests who had not checked in yet, but they were prepaid and she felt bad giving them the room we were in (guess that means it's ok to get a disgusting room if you don't prepay). The next morning we were moved to another room. Again, cleanliness is mediocre. Bathroom had several areas of mold. We kept the window open and ran an oil diffuser and the smell was bearable. We did enjoy the complimentary fishing, fire pits , yard games and hot tub.

Lots of fun actiivities, smores, fires on the beach. Excellent pool playland for kids! Huge variety for breakfast!!!

They had a beach right out the back door, yard games patio and tubes, unfortunately they did not tell us this we accidentally found it and we could have enjoyed it the night before. ;-)

I liked the lake view and the outdoor area for guests!
