The room was very clean despite the outdated furniture and old building. The staff was more than friendly and helpful! I felt very safe staying here and think it’s worth the price they’re asking. The walls and floors had lots of wear and tear, but the non smoking room smelled clean and I had no issues.

There were roaches in the room. The pillows and sheets weren’t clean. The sink was eroded. The pictures of the property seemed like a complete 180 from the actual room. The hallway smelled. It was a 2 star property, so I didn’t want to expect much, because it won’t be fair. But the property lacks basic hygiene, everything is dilapidated.

The room was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, and there were cockroaches at night! I don't recommend it. It's horrible!

Aside from the standard dinginess and low condition one expects from a motel like this, I was surprised by the fact that my ceiling was covered in mold. Not only was it moldy, but the room had a musty/damp smell that neccissitated me to wash everything I had brought with me.

I have never been to a hotel where I actually felt afraid. The place was disgusting. I’m sure there are health code violations. I’m willing to put up with a lot to save money. We left and went across the street to Comfort Inn. Supposedly they are refunding my money. We’ll see.

What a Dump! It doesn't look like this picture.

They are VERY moldy. The entire building. I started in room 120. The room at the end of the hall. The next day I had to change rooms because the mold smell was very strong even though they tried to cover it with bleach before we rented it. Also it reeked of bleach the entire time we were in it. I also have many bites that itched so bad I scratched them til they bled. I took pictures of the moldy bathroom and the bites. The doors do not close tight to the door frame & we had to smell weed along with the bleach smell for hours but the bleach smell never went away. The next morning the front desk had me go look at a room on the 2nd floor even though I am disabled. I begged him to put me on the 1st floor. He refused. He also told me weed is legal in NC. So it is allowed. The angle I stood in the door of the bathroom I could only see a few black dots & didn't think it was mold. So I said yes to the 2nd floor room. Once we got into the room we could see there was mold in the bathroom AND over the bed. The 1st room didn't have it over the bed. In the first room the bed was very uncomfortable. The 2nd room it sagged where a persons butt sat on the bed. So when we laid down it was very uncomfortable. It felt like a bed with stretched out springs. It was so bad we woke up in pain. I have several pictures of both rooms. Also I am covered in bites on my entire body from both rooms. I looked up what bed bug bites look like because I have NEVER had this issue in my 62 yrs.

The Room Was Not Cleaned properly. There was a bag of chicken from a previous guest, and there was a lot of noise from other guests. The bed made a lot of noise, you couldn't move without it making a noise.I will not be staying there again.
