This private luxury mountain home is located just outside downtown Asheville, atop Town Mountain, in an exclusive and private neighborhood, with views overlooking North Asheville, mountains and more; an easy 5 minutes down the mountain, and less than 10 minutes to downtown Asheville. Extremely close to the Biltmore Estate, the River Arts District and West Asheville with its energetic & eclectic collection of restaurants and shops! You are app. 25 minutes to Asheville Regional airport. Bottom line; you are essentially close to "everything" in and around Asheville. The home is accessed via only paved roads.

Mountain Vista Alchemy made its premiere to Yonder in 2021. However, this spectacular destination lodge has been entertaining travelers for years & is becoming one of the most popular homes in our Yonder luxury portfolio, and very quickly became one of the most requested! It is not surprising when you put a terrific estate property & home together with simply spectacular views, outdoor spaces & amenities.

Mountain Vista Alchemy embodies serenity and relaxation in a stylish natural setting. This private mountain home located in the Blue Ridge Mountains evokes a sense of balance and with downtown Asheville within 3 miles and 2 miles from the Omni Grove Park Inn. You will feel energized by the city's restaurants, shops and breweries. The majesty of the 3,000 ft. elevation and the 3 mile proximity to eclectic downtown Asheville makes this vacation rental a perfect getaway. Mountain Vista Alchemy is conveniently located one block from its sister property Asheville Mountain Alchemy. The close proximity of the two properties is ideal for large family get togethers.

"Mountain Vista Alchemy" as the owners endearingly call their home, has expansive mountain vista views from most parts of the house. It sleeps 12 people comfortably. There are two living areas; the larger of the two rooms has a gas fireplace, 62'' Smart TV and comfortable seating for 10 people. The upstairs living/game room has a queen sleeper sofa, large smart TV, Foosball, and various other games. The Two Master Suites have breathtaking views of the mountain, King size foam beds, Smart TV's, and en suite bathrooms. The family bedroom has two queen beds, two twin size beds and a flat screen TV. The children's room has a log twin bunk bed and a single twin. All mattresses are allergy free, gel memory foam, with 1200 count sheets and latex pillows. Ample bedding and comforters are available for chilly nights.

The newly renovated kitchen opens to a panoramic view of the mountains. It has concrete and granite surfaces, stainless steel appliances, including a double oven and convection microwave. The large center island is a great gathering area for entertaining and preparing meals. Made of concrete and brick, It has a built in ceramic cooktop and prep sink. The kitchen is equipped with all major appliances, cookware and utensils. The large farm table has seating for ten people along with a pub table and island that can accommodate another 8-10 people. The family room has generous seating, a gas fireplace, 62" Smart TV and long range mountain views (not to mention the hot tub!). The garage includes a pool table for guests to enjoy during their stay.

One of our guests favorites places is the outdoor fire pit, where folks gather at the end of the day, with their favorite drink and watch the emerging stars , listen to the last songs of the birds and view the dazzling lights of Asheville. The harmonious blending of nature will leave you with a sense of well being. If adventure is your thing, there is no shortage of fishing , kayaking or biking. Conquer the Blue Ridge Parkway. Ride your road or mountain bike, explore hiking through ubiquitous trails or just drive this scenic route. You are just a short drive from America's favorite scenic byway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, motorcycle touring, biking, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, Segway tour…just about any outdoor activity! Or, take a quick ride to downtown Asheville to enjoy the first-rate restaurants, shopping, galleries, spas, and entertainment.

Quiet Policy: Please note that the home/estate property is located in a very private, quiet and exclusive mountain neighborhood community. Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the mountain neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.

Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Larger Groups: Asheville Mountain Alchemy is located one block away (walking distance) from it's sister property, Mountain Vista Alchemy, & it can be a perfect getaway combination for large family reunions. Speak with a Yonder representative about renting both properties together.

PETS: Many of our guests have allergies so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. NO exceptions. If you have a pet we can recommend some alternatives nearby.
