The bar had a good selection and superb service. Although we did not have breakfast we did enjoy the coffee and tea bar set up at 7am. Beautiful presentation filling up a 10” table. Both big ceramic mugs and to go cups, several choices of milk and coffee served in large silver urns. Box of fine teas. Lovely!

Barry at the front desk was great. Hotel is nicely decorated and in a convenient location. Sadly my bed smelled like a dog, the tall waiter at night was rude, the tv kept cutting out, and it was going to be a rather long wait to eat breakfast.

We absolutely loved our stay. What a wonderful staff from the super sweet valet, desk people, and the bartender (with long hair) were absolutely wonderful. My only complaint is the bartender that is tall with short hair, he was incredibly rude to people and needs additional training. I am in marketing and thought he really was a liability to what otherwise was such kind people.

We have stayed at the Charlottesville’s and Asheville Kimpton Hotel. Both properties and staff have been excellent. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The only area that could use an update is the exercise room. Both properties had broken equipment. They could use a regular recumbent or upright exercise bike too
