Quaint hotel in the centre of town. Good location for the castle and walks.. My room was in the main building. Room was a bit dated but clean and tidy with a proper walk in shower (a must for me) that was pretty decent for an old building. I didn’t have breakfast. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Check in was quick and efficient. We stayed on a Friday and were able to use the car park. Although we didn’t use the restaurant, we had a few drinks at the Norfolk tap which was lovely and staff great. We popped into the hotel for a nightcap and had a lovely chat to the night porter.
