Great little getaway

Fishing Trip

Stayed 2 nights for a fishing trip with 2 boats/trucks. Plenty of parking and the cabin was very clean and comfortable. Very close to the ramp and bait shop, would definitely stay here again!

Great Anniversary Gettaway!

My husband and I booked the Cozy Cabin for our anniversary trip. We’ve never been to Arkdale, it was a beautiful area and right on the lake! The cabin was clean, organized, and stocked with kitchen supplies, toiletries, and games. We enjoyed our time and we plan on coming back with the kids sometime since it’s such a family friendly stay!

Family Fun

We have family with a house right on the lake but we needed somewhere to stay at night and to eat breakfast in the mornings. The cozy cottage had everything we needed. A nice clean cabin with plenty of space for my family of 4. It was nice and cool even in the heat of the summer, and was super cozy during a hail storm. The kitchen has what you need and so does the bathroom (bring your own towels). A cute little cozy cabin!

Overall a very clean place. Coffee maker didn't work. I think you really need to do some work on the approach to the fishing pier. That's an accident waiting to happen.

A perfect weekend get away

The cabin was very clean! While it was small it was exaclty what we needed. Had 1 minor issue with the bathroom sink but Jen answered our call quickly! We will be back.

# day stay for Petenwall fishing

Very accommodating. Minor electrical issue. 2 of the Beds were too small for adults. Pier was nice but very hazardous to get onto and off of. Overall pleasant stay.

Review

Well kept and clean. Plenty of room for parking our boat and two pickup trucks. Management was receptive to our issues and allowed for a last minute request to add an additional night. However, we were disappointed to find out that the pier and dock were removed prior to our arrival. The dock was one of the main reasons we selected this property. Another disappointment was the lack of privacy. Two out of seven windows did not have blinds on them. Water pressure was poor. Im not the type to write a poor review but unfortunately we didn't get what we paid for. I'm hopeful the owners find this review as constructive. Cool little house that needs a few little adjustments and it could be worth a stay.
