Hotel Libertador Arequipa

The surrounding circumstance is beautiful, and the front desk staff are more than welcome and helpful in booking the tickets and day tour plans for me. The breakfast is plentiful and full of choice. I strongly recommend the hotel as the first choice when you staying in Arequipa.

They said this is the best hotel of Arequipa. But... There's no elevator on facilities.. If you think arriving with luggages and go up to third floor at 2.700 above sea level after flown 12 hours and changing planes... you will not feel so good.

Extremely nice staff, excellent breakfast, hot coca tea in lobby all the time.

Hotel Libertador is the only hotel I stay at when I travel to Arequipa. Best location excellent amenities 24 hr room service considered the best of the best. I recommend to anyone traveling to Arequipa for a day a week or longer.

what a lovely treat, excellent breakfast, super pleasant and very helpful staff

I would be happy to go back to the Libertador at any time!! The food is sensational, as is the grounds, staff, and rooms.

Huge old colonial hotel on expansive grounds near the best part of the city. We were upgraded to a large suite. All the usual comforts of a 5 star hotel. Only negative is the pool is unheated. Highly recommended.

The hotel currently is and will continue to be under construction while being renovated.

Staying here was well worth it! I arrived off a bus at 6am and despite the check in time being that afternoon, we were able to check in at 6am. Breakfast was delicious.

This is my fifth stay in Arequipa, but my first at the Libertador. I'd always been concerned about the somewhat higher price than other hotels and it relatively longer distance to the main square. I'll have to say that the extra money was well spent. This a first-class hotel surrounded by beautiful parks, with ample room to relax. A great view of the mountains is achieved by walking a just couple of blocks. The downside remains that to reach downtown, one must cross a busy and not-too-nice street. That, however, doesn't take too long, and soon you are in the historic neighborhood, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars.

The hotel was great. Very clean. The grounds were beautiful.
