Room with Volcano view as all rooms at property do. Three hot springs and a pool. Great coffee and solid included breakfast buffet. Nice fridge with 2 free beer and waters in room. Parking outside of door. Crazy good water pressure in shower.
We stayed here for three nights and loved it all. Very relaxing. Quiet cabins. Excellent pool area for kids and adults. Free morning yoga!
Air conditioning needs more capacity for those very hot days
Staff was simply awesome! Nice, genuine and very helpful without being intrusive or aggressive. Perfect hospitality! Didn't bother w Tabacon bc the hot springs at the Arenal Springs Resort were perfect. The food prices were too high for what we were served, but that's the only negative. Drinks were great!
This is a very nice hotel in the arenal area. Off the main road the rooms are not in a stacked building their side by side each room has a yard very beautiful landscaping. Just have to be able to walk from your room to the pool area. The dining area is very elaborate, food was good. We were greeted at the door with drinks which really started our vacation off well. The hot springs there were very nice as you go up they get warmer. One of the hot springs has a bar at the side. We ate at the sushi restaurant if you are a bit of a sushi fanatic you probably will not like there's sushi. The gift shop we got a lot of souvenirs from good selection. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and spacious the AC runs on your door card so sometimes it takes awhile for your room to cool down. The shower is very unique and gorgeous it's laid out in such a way that if it rains outside it drips down the stone wall into the little garden next to the beautiful tile shower but being connected to the outside it can be a little warm and humid but totally worth it. I would definitely go back if given the chance.
Had a wonderful stay with family. Comfortable & clean room, well maintained and beautiful outdoors with great view of the volcano. Enjoyed the hot springs pool. Helpful staff and great service !!
Liked being a couple miles outside of town. Resort quiet and peaceful. La Fortuna has over 100 dining and drinking establishments when you want to go into town. Breakfast was good (nice buffet plus eggs cooked to order), included. Restaurant food (dinner) quite good but a bit spendy. First night opted for appetizer with wine and shared dessert. Went to town for meals after that Staff is top notch on friendliness and helpfulness. Rooms comfy. Showers really nice. No sitting area in room but who cares in a resort. Nice swim- up pool bar. Hot springs (of course).
Nice hotel with hot springs on site. Breakfast is included so its nice to start the day with full stomachs. All rooms have a great view of the volcano. I have nothing bad to say about this resort. Our kids loved it and we would stay here again. A few miles down the road is Tabicon hot springs which we absolutely loved if you're into natural hot springs. It's a bit pricey, but well worth the experience.
Hello, I loved the hotel thermal pools. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I found the location very close to everything. (With a car) I would stay here again .
Our entire trip was amazing and the food was AWESOME!
Great hotel. Fabulous location and spectacular view of the volcano. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend and do a return trip.
My wife and I travel around the world frequently and stay at many great hotels. Arenal Springs Resort was one of , if not the best hotel/resort we have ever stayed at ! Everything about it was perfect, the rooms, location, mineral water pools... And the cost was very low, an amazing bargain !
Great place if you want to have hot springs right in the hotel - and since they are open until 10pm, you can do tours or excursions during the daylight hours and enjoy hot springs under the stars (or clouds, which might be just as likely). Great view of the Arenal volcano from each room/bungalo. Decent breakfast - not just a bowl of cereal and an orange juice. Not decent sushi prices in the wet bar, especially considering their less-than-average quality - if you have a car and want to save money, for the price of a sushi roll in the resort you could easily get a dinner for two in sodas in La Fortuna.
hi, hotel was great and close to all activities within the area. the hotel is more of a motel layout so you have to walk most areas, not far and the walls are thin! the hot springs pool and swim up bar is amazing. as with most places in costa rica, if you go outside of costa ricsn cuisine, you are taking a chance. stick with local food and its great.
Stayed here for 3 nights. You can literally live off the properly :) I will definitely come back.
The resort had excellent ground, great pools and restaurants, and a great view of the volcano from every room. The rooms we're great but could have had better bedding/sheet. Also, it's the rainforest so expect some random bugs to get Into your room (nothing bad though).
We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the property. Staff is friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Food was surprisingly good especially the pizza at the Italian restaurant. Breakfast buffet is good. It reminded me of a Beaches property if you are familiar with those. Nice, but not over the top. We had lunch at The Springs and while the pools are very nice the food was average and I didn't think it was as nice as this resort especially for the price.
Perfect choice for a visit to the Arenal Volcano area. Grounds were so beautiful. Room was nice, even included free mini-bar. Excellent breakfast buffet. Best was that even though we checked out in the morning, we were still able to return in the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful thermal spring pool. Convenient lockers and shower room at pool side.
I fell in love with this resort! The location was beautiful, the staff helpful and friendly and the hot springs perfect.
Good grounds because of the springs, but it is far from town. Rude unhelpful staff. Saw cockroaches in the room. Overall was expecting more from this hotel at its price point.
