The staff and service were great. The room was old and stuck in the 80's at best. The window AC was old and falling apart. The floor tiles were worn out in some parts. There were patches of mud (dry wall compound) on some parts of the wall that were not even sanded. The bathroom had black mildew around the shower stall. The bathroom was a Jack and Jill, but one of the doors was very hard to close. The windows were original to the era, so lots of wind would sneak in and the room was cold. They could have used a rubber gasket around the ends to ensure guest comfort. The breakfast buffet was so-so. Cold cuts included cheese and ham only. Only two types of fruit: papaya and cantaloupe. The coffee was bitter. Breads and cakes were very good. Location is hard to find at night, but the view and outdoor facilities are very nice. The view of the ocean is beautiful. There are two adjacent restaurants to the hotel and they looked very nice and clean. We did not eat there because our stay was very short. Overall, I do not think I would go back there. I give the place 2 stars because of the neglect.
