DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Aqaba

Great location. Nice hotel.

Location was excellent. Loved the roof deck restaurant/bar. The atmosphere was great. The hotel made our trip to Petra very easily accessible and pleasant. Overall the hotel was a great deal and worked for us. The pool area was nice, but would have been better if the hot tubs were in good working condition. The sauna was nice, but the steam room had an unpleasant smell so I didn't even go in. The elevators were sleek glass looking over the atrium, but they smelled of cigarette smoke and weren't well ventilated. Overall a great experience, but there was definitely some room for improvement.

Kempinski Hotel Aqaba Red Sea

Really in Jordan

For a country that has notoriously terrible service, this place is really a wow. The staff genuinely cares and the place is immaculate. Pool is odd shaped and very small, beach is ok, water sports activities are at your finger tips and generally safe. resturants are GREAT, and concierge knows what they are doing.

Movenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba

New Year's in Aqaba and Wadi Rum - great hotel

Began with great start when we received a complimentary upgrade upon arrival to allow our 12 year old daughter to have a full twin size bed rather than a rollout. Beautiful sunset on the Red Sea viewed from the hotel's private beach. Easy and ample onsite parking. Was great hotel for our exploring Aqaba and driving up to Wadi Rum for the day. Overall, a very pleasant oasis.
