No frills property at a great price. Well located for walking access to main part of town. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and we very much enjoyed their hospitality. Beds were clean and breakfast was sufficient!

Comfortable hotel in great location

We had a very good stay at Cedar hotel. Great location, very comfortable and extremely attentive staff. We experienced some issues with our room and the staff and owner addressed them right away. Highly recommended hotel for your next trip to Aqaba.

My friend and I were able to check in early and stay late for our late flight. The Manager Ahmed was amazing showing enthusiasm regarding our being there and treated us like queens. Mahamout keep our room tidy and provided us with fabulous towel creatures everyday. The included breakfast is delicious with many items including Middle Eastern choices to choose from. The staff went way beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. I certainly would stay at The Cedar if I returned to Aqaba.

The night manager was so friendly and helpful for me. I appreciate to him. And the waiter who working at underground breakfast floor was so helpful too. Cleanning staff was kind.The location was good. -) bathroom cleaning was not good. Towels ,amenity were old and there was a hole in a bath mat.... I expect improvement.

Very nice hotel, great staff

We spent in Aqaba only one night and Cedar Hotel was an highlight of our stay. The premises are close to all the amenities in town and the staff helped us to discover the best parts of the city. The room was nice, comfortable and clean with courtesy bath set, air condition and free water in the fridge. The hotel has a deal with Berenice Beach Club so you can enter the club at half price. We definitely enjoyed our stay here and we would recommend the hotel to the other turists visiting Aqaba.

Decent option at middle-range pricing

Decent option in the Aqaba region, not terribly far from the port area and a 5-10 minute walk from restaurants. The rooms are very clean, the mattresses are extremely thin and the beds hard, the bathroom is good (no TP flush, FYI), and the breakfast has more options than expected.

Cheap and you get what you pay for

We booked this hotel because od its price so we really had no expectations and yet we left unsatisfied. Hotel is in a bit of a crapy area, bot not unsafe, off hotels area but close to the Suk and places to eat. Free parking st the street. Check in was great. The guy at receptions gave outstanding service, offering all help and information, outstanding! The room.we booked was twin room. The beds were extremely had and very inconvenient. Windows are not double blazed so all street noises easily heard in the room, including the call to.the pray, 5 times a day, starting 4:30am... Bathroom is nice, well equipped, how ever we needed to wait about 10 min each time for the hot water to come all the way to the 3rd floor. On the second morning there were no hot water at all...! We stayed for 2 nights and no one clerned the room, fixed the bed or changed towels in between. Breakfast is basic. On the first morningbwe were the only one do we got breakfast on a plate cover with nylon... Second morning there were probebly more guests, that we didn't see, but a basic bouffet was offered. All in all it wasn't our best experience but also not our worst... I would spend some more money next time and go to a better one.

I had a comfortable stay!

The hotel was super clean, the toilet was proper sanitized. The only downside was probably the design of the hotel needs an upgrade. I had a comfortable stay. The manager/owner was a very nice guy and the hotel was pretty close to Rakwet Kanaan restaurant, which I highly recommended.

Upon arrival was made a coffee, given plate of fresh fruit and nibbles, very nice touch after a long drive from Tabuk Saudi. Air con was very quiet, bathroom clean with lots of freebies. Breakfast was basic but fine for me. Internet was very good. I went to the Beatrice beach 20jd included entrance, lunch and snorkelling gear and transport if you need it, sold by the hotel. There are cheaper options available. Overall the hotel is exceptional value and the staff very helpful and friendly.

Budget hotel, no frills, kind staff

My room was fine, however the friends I was travelling with had a broken toilet in their room, and were asked to use the one across the hall. My A/C unit rattled badly. The bed was not a common mattress, but something much harder. That said, the price was good, and the staff was friendly.

Outstanding. Great breakfast, nice room, overall enjoyed the property. Customer service was fantastic, they helped us with several issues and let us stay longer in the room when our boat to Egypt was late. Would definitely stay again.

The stay was really nice. The reception staff was so nice that he guided us as we entered in the hotel and talked about different places to see and even made the bookings for us. The breakfast served to us also of good quality. Overall a nice stay.
