Searched for hours for a reasonably priced hotel for my family over Labor Day. We were plannning to attend a wedding in Elkhart Lake. Wherever it was had to have a pool. When we arrived we were told that the pool would be closed on Labor Day and they would not be serving breakfast. I expressed my disappointment in that the kids were really looking forward to the pool. We were not offered any vouchers or discount! The room we had looked clean on the surface but very dated. Additionally, the mattresses were sunk, the toilet was not tight to the floor, and the tv was a tube so we could not see the whole picture. It was waaaaaay overpriced. I think that this experience might have been worth $55 NOT $126.50! I would recommend it to Gordon Ramsay for Hotel H3lloks.

This classic hotel is centrally located, within easy walking distance to restaurants and clubs. There is a fine Italian/American restaurant onsite, and the breakfast (included in room price) was fabulous with fresh omelets, waffles, breads and pastries, and fruit. The staff was on the whole attentive. Maid service a little below par. We checked into a room with non-functional A/C, but were quickly relocated to an upgraded room.

This hotel was good for the area. It was better than most but not worth $120 per night.

Halls need updating but great to stay downtown. They had a really nice free breakfast, made to order. A nice restaurant, the Trinity, was right around the corner with music.

My husband and I spent one night and we liked our stay. Downtown location was convenient, but the sign on the outside of hotel reads Ramada, while the reservation reads Retlaw Plaza, so we were a bit confused. The staff was nice, our room was on 7th floor, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was all right, chef prepared us omelet and waffles, but not much else to choose from. Free covered parking lot on the side of hotel was convenient. Reasonable for the price we paid. Would recommend this hotel to our friends.
