If all you need is cereal for breakfast you Will be fine here. Walls are a little thin and neighbors had tv on and loud conversation until the wee hours. Room was clean. Nothing major to complain about or compliment on.
Wallpaper coming off walls. Hairs in shower, just old and dirty and not maintained well at all.
Exactly what we were looking, a place to sleep close to the ball park at a fair price. Hotel was difficult to get to off the main street but not hard once you were familiar with the area. Hotel is being renovated and expanded, and should be nice when completed. Breakfast was not impressive. Shopping mall and plenty of restaurants near by. All in all I would stay there when in the Appleton area.
Hotel was just purchased by Red Roof. New owners are very nice and accommodating. Building needs work since previous owners let it degrade without doing any upkeep. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was clean but a little dated.
Exactly what I expected. The location was perfect a lot of places to eat and close to a lot of entertainment.
Overall this is an average hotel. It is clean and the A/C worked well. The problem came when I was told the room had two full size beds when I booked a king size. There was no help from the desk clerk even when I showed her my confirmation. That's the smallest bed my wife and I ever slept on together, so comfort was down graded.
The hotel was clean, the rooms comfortable, and the staff friendly and professional.
We were in the area for Airventure 2015. We were out of the motel by 6:30 AM and did not return until 8:30 PM or later. The motel met the needs of a clean accessible place to stay. It is an older facility but well maintained.
Hotel is aged. Quiet stay. Clean room with good a/c. Beds comfortable. Staff nice. Breakfast mediocre, but sufficient. Food and shopping near by.
I eventually was in room 424. This was a terrible place. The pot holes were the biggest that I had ever seen. I was afraid for my Chevy Spark rental car. It was confusing to get to the lobby. My GPS lead me to the side furthest from the highway. I parked and tried to find the lobby. Finally I got back into the car and drove in front of Applebee’s and parked by that lobby. Then I was told that I had to go on the other side of Texas Roadhouse. Then I parked and got room 430 I believe. The toilet was running when I got in. I went back to the lobby. I was then given another room close to the lobby. The room reaked of what smelled like a combination of mold and smoke. The clerk led me to room 424 and was nice enough to give me a late checkout. The clerks at check in and check out were nice. I wish that I could say the same of the rooms. There were splatter stains on various places on the walls of 424. The lamp between the beds did not work. This was my first and last stay at a La Quinta.
Too many buildings, a little confusing. Wish you did not have to walk main building for breakfast. Good restaurants close by
Attended the Green Bay Packers game with my son. We stayed in Appleton after the game. This hotel was difficult to reach do to its location. The front desk person was very friendly. The lobby was warm and inviting. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast selection was balanced.
great location, a little worn. some updating needed
Average hotel, good for a quick one stay. Walls are very thin.
For the price, this hotel is just what we were looking for. Not as fancy as you'd get for $100+, but clean and comfortable and great for a night's stay.
No bath tub, and the shower space was not really clean. The fridge wasn't working well - things stay cool but not cold. The wall is quite thin and we could hear the TV sound from the nextdoor. The receptionists were nice enough, but the facilities were not.
I had to request that my room be cleaned. When I did, it was cleaned, but not very well. There was trash on the floor and shampoo dripped in shower/tub was not cleaned. Toiletries were not replaced. You also have to go to another building for the breakfast and to another hotel to exercise. Very disappointing.
First room was very smokey smelling. Front desk clerk was very accommodating in finding us a more suitable room. Walls are thin though.
Bathroom sink and floor could've been cleaner. Was awoken by loud noises in the middle of the night from across hall and room above. Free Breakfast was good, but didn't like we had to leave building to go over to main building. Double beds comfortable but small.
Great location, near everything and convenient to Hwy 441/41. Pulled into LaQuinta waited to check in with 3 parties in front of me, only to find out I was at the wrong LaQuinta?? What? I needed to go to the next building. Only to find out our room was in the next building. Moved our car 3 times to get to the door closest to our room!!! Room was okay. Nothing fancy, the shower was fantastic and king bed was super comfy. Worth $50.00.
