Place did not look good from outside but room's were newly renovated with large HDTV may be 45". Bathroom was very nicely done and I got room with two beds as that was economical! Breakfast area and front desk well done with coffee available anytime. Without GPS it is hard to find place with deemed parking lot lighting. Lots of construction workers staying at this place
*Not* in the middle of town: seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Concrete on outside (road, sidewalks) definitely needs an upgrade (cracked/split; multiple colors of paint), as it was ugly, as well as hazardous for anyone with mobility issues. Dips in asphalt in parking lot held water after minor rain — again, risks for anyone with any mobility impairment. Decent for the price, though; clean & safe. Courteous staff willing to give us late checkout. Comfortable bed; towels very thin; in-room coffee ok. We would stay there again, regardless of aesthetic drawbacks.
We stayed at the hotel in Sept./17 and we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, had a fridge and microwave, loaded cofeemaker, HBO, it was clean and in a quiet safe area, convenient access from a highway. Breakfast offed hot pancakes, fruit etc. Staff was very friendly. I recommend this hotel.
My husband made de reservation base on the pictures he saw on booking.com. Let me tell you when we arrived it reminded me of a scary movie. But I went to the room anyway . And walk right out, their was no way we were staying there and On top of that they charge us for one night. I know they normally do. But considering the condition of that room, they shouldn’t have. Don’t waste your money
The appearance of this hotel is quite dated! The buildings are old, very tired and run down....at first look you might want to keep going. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with a microwave and mini refrigerator. This is a quiet location on the outskirts of town. If all you need is a nice clean bed and a breakfast then this is it. It was a reasonably priced old hotel with a continental breakfast included (cereal, packaged danish and muffins, juice, coffee and fresh waffle maker. (Note: The Zippo museum is right next door. Don't miss it. It was surprisingly interesting.)
When we pulled up, to say we were taken aback would be an understatement. However, we were very pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean the rooms were. We had 2 adjoining rooms for our family and they were both in excellent condition. They looked clean, they smelled clean, the water pressure in the shower was great, the staff at all hours was very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
We were looking for a place, that was in the middle of our long drive that was clean and reasonably priced. This place met the bill. Relatively easy to find, the staff was friendly and the room was basic, but met our expectations.
This Econo Lodge is really run down. It looks like they are staring to renovate some. Our room was clean but beat up. It was quiet enough and the sleep quality was OK. I'm a little surprised that Econo Lodge uses their name on a hotel as tired as this one.
Don’t judge this Econolodge location in Bradford, PA, a northern gateway to Allegheny National Forest, by its exterior, which looks a bit worn on very Spartan grounds. The modest-sized rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. Our ground floor, queen bed room had a couch and table in addition to a working desk with a good chair and a cabinet for storage. The room was equipped with microwave, mini-fridge, hair dryer, ironing board, single-cup coffee maker, clock-radio, and a large screen HDTV with a host of channels. The tub shower, which looked newly redecorated, worked well with lots of hot water. Cosmetic amenities were limited to soap and shampoo. The room had plenty of lamps, equipped with power outlets, and we had no trouble reading in the comfortable bed. The room heating/AC unit was not noisy and worked well on a hot, muggy day. The usual, basic motel complementary continental breakfast is available from 6:30 AM and included cold cereal, packaged sweet rolls, toast, fruit (bananas and apples the day we were there) and fruit juices, along with coffee and milk. A bonus was the do-it-yourself waffle maker. My wife lamented the absence of yogurt and a companion wished for packets of instant oatmeal. Breakfast is at tables in the attractive lobby where the morning news from CNN was playing. The desk person was exceptionally friendly, both at check-in and departure. We had made the reservations for our two couples over the Internet, and he had thoughtfully booked us into two adjacent rooms, even though the rooms were of different types. The ice machine was being repaired the day we were there. No problem: the desk filled our two ice buckets from purchased bags of ice. Free Internet is included, but we did not have the need to try it on this visit. There is no denying that this is a budget property, but within those constraints, this makes an attractive, economical place to stay in southern Bradford. It is easily accessible from the limited access U.S. 219 and within a five minute drive of city center, though there are no restaurants within walking distance. We’d stay here again.
Needed a single night in Bradford, certainly not a memorable stay. Just to start the hotel(?) is in a really rundown ,dirty , very unkept piece of property. Check in we were told they could not put off the first floor because they were booked, returning from a concert,11 pm there were plenty of parking spots available. Room was clean but extremely worn out, tables ,dresser scratches and just worn out. There seems to have been an attempt to remodel but it has certainly come to halt. Remodelled washroom ,but sink leaked terribly onto the floor, shower looks great but the ceiling is literally falling into the shower piece by big piece. As for the smell, a combination of musty and air freshener . There is an outside pool, but after observing the surroundings ,pool deck, disrepair of 30 + yr old chairs and just general very unkept appearance of area we quickly retreated to our room. Overall, if your absolutely desperate ,the $86 Can. gets you very questionable accommodations. There is a Best Western in town but it seems as it is in remodelling mode from its exterior look. Honestly 10 miles down the Hwy 86 is Olean, where there are certainly more newer options and not really much more money. Econolodege should be embarrassed to have their name on this property.
