Quality Hotel Antwerpen Centrum Opera

This hotel is just a short walk from the Antwerp Central Train Station. We settled in our room around noon (early check-in was no problem) and asked directions to several points of interest. The hotel is situated about a 10 minute walk into old town and very close to the shopping area (Meir). The room was spacious (unexpected) as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable as well. Breakfast was more than adequate to start our day. We enjoyed this hotel and the staff were great! BTW, there is a small bar in the lobby of the hotel - perfect for a pre-dinner drink or a night cap.

Spent two weekends here. Good sized room, clean bathroom, good breakfast and an okay bar to have that last drink before going to bed. The hotel has a paid parking in a parking house option, which was very convenient for us.

Our experiences were as following: Postives: + good location + excellent price/quality + free bottled water in room + free wi-fi + coffee and tea facilities + big and clean room + dark enough room + friendly reception Negatives: - terrace at room was filthy and in need of renovation - some parts of the room need an update (like some walls) Overall we recommend this hotel and would return!

We stayed one night enroute to Rotterdam for a ferry. Friendly welcome, clean spacious room, reasonably priced. We did not use the bar or restaurant as we had a quick walk around the City before departing. The hotel is centrally located, and the evening we arrived the staff directed us to the lively area around the central station 5 mins walk away, and then in the morning, another 5 minute walk in the opposite direction to the catherdral area. Would stay again if visiting Antwerp

Good staff--friendly, helpful, available to answer questions. The room was a good size for two people, furnished nicely with a good-size bathroom. The wifi worked fine. Also, it is reasonably priced in this expensive city. Its only drawback is that it is about a ten to fifteen minute pleasant walk to the old town center which was not a problem for me, but if you do not like to walk, you may want to find something more central.

This is a reasonable and practical hotel. Located close to the city centre and with parking. Note this is adjacent to the hotel but there is a daily fee of €18. We held a meeting in a good size room and the support from the staff was excellent. Public areas are smart and clean as are the rooms. The hallways and corridors are however very tatty and in need of a good makeover. I'd suggest this is at best a 3 star facility, so hopefully that will help you manage your expectations.

This hotel is very well situated in the center of Antwerp. We intended to book in our favourite Mercure but the Choice group apparently purchased this location in its attempts to spread its wings over Europe. Well done! The hotel has not much fringes but it offers complete service. The room was equipped with most necessary amenities, had complimentary water bottles as well as a coffee maker and hot water facilities. Unfortunately, again and again and again we met shower facilities in the bath which makes life complicated for people with even the slightest mobility problems. The bathroom was very clean though. Very friendly service in the bar (with a wide offer of drinks). We received useful information from the helpful reception desk about the city and nearby parking facilities. I have to visit Antwerp a couple of times from now on and I will certainly be back to this hotel.

Booked and offer on Internet, and I was given a massive and super nice room, much appreciated but totally unexpected, very friendly staff, and perfect location in between the central train station and the city centre

Lots of negative reviews of these place... No it's not a 4 star Mercure, but for the excellent price it was never going to be!? Its a great location between the station and the centre of the city! I had a lovely large room on the 5th floor, large screen tv with UK channels. We had a drink in the bar which was small but nice enough. I would stay here again!

i have to say i have been disappointed of quality of this hotel.. it was noisy hotel, breakfast has been full of flies flying on food, too expensive food in dinner time. no parking in hotel you need to pay extra in shopping cetre parking,,
