We had a beautiful one night stay in Antwerp, and I am SO happy that we booked with Diamonds and Pearls. The room was cozy and well decorated with a cottage stye feel to it. The bed was extremely comfortable and we felt like we were the only ones in the whole place! Breakfast was great the next day, and the staff at the desk were really welcoming. I would 100% recommend it as a get away for couples or as a pitstop in Antwerp during a Euro Tour.

We visited for just 24hrs on our anniversary! Hotel is in the heart of the city with a great view of the Cathedral of our Lady. We stayed in Room 1, It was very clean and full of amazing, charming old furniture and soft furnishings. We went on the recommendations for evening activities of the extremely helpful, English speaking staff. (We didn't have time to ramble around hit and miss to find a good bar or restaurant) Oh my we were NOT disappointed! There are loads of great traditional beer bars and restaurants within minutes - just ask for where the locals go! The bed was so comfortable! A great nights sleep was welcomed after an amazing night out!

Terrible management. we were 5 ppl, there were 4 blankets. we asked for the 5th, never being brought. they said that coffee is free. they put only 2 instant coffee packages for 5 ppl on the first day and none on the other day and tried to charge us for the coffees we drank at the lobby.

Small cute hotel in excellent location easy walking distance to the cathedral and town hall. Situated in a pedestrian area full of bars and restaurants with outside areas. Had the small outside room which claims four beds however you need to be a bit of a gymnast, the downstairs has two beds in a sitting area, up a very narrow set of curved stairs to small shower and separate WC on the second floor. Up a another small curved set of metal stairs to a bedroom on the third floor with two beds. If you need the bathroom at night it's a set of stairs to negotiate wherever you sleep. Fun for the young not so practical for the parents, tricky if you over indulge in too much Belgian beer. No bar but you don't need one due to the many on your doorstep. Very different but not for me.

I stayed in this place for several days. Amazing service, very clean and extremely friendly hosts. Always ready to help out with amazing advice !! Getting up early in the morning, using the bar / breakfast area as working area, no problem, coffee, wifi, all present .... Right in the center of Antwerp, at 2 minutes walk from the cathedral - I can not imagine a better place to stay !

This was about the 6th time we stayed in Diamonds and Pearls in Antwerp and it is starting to feel like our second home. We often stay for one or two weeks just because it feels like home. I have a bad back and no other hotel have beds of that quality. Large, good quality beds and pillows that give you the best rest or sleep ever. Last week we stayed there again and as always service was impeccable. We had been on the road for over a month and we had a lot of clothes with us that needed ironing en a lot of extra cloth hangers. Just one simple request and it was done! We also asked for an extra bed as my daughter was going to spend one day with us and that was not an issue either. The wifi works really well too which, for us, is a must as we are always on a business trip and need to be able to do some work. In short, I absolutely love it! The decoration has been done with lots of love which makes you feel at home. No demand is too much for Abby, Maarten and Jason. I absolutely love these guys. They rock!! We hope to be back soon!

We had made a reservation for three nights, for which the owner during check-in wanted us to pay up front. As I normally do not like this type of arrangement (you never know what you are going to get) we agreed with him then and there to reduce our stay to two nights. For this we paid the entire costs up front by credit card, signed the receipt, all in order. We found the hotel itself is very small, there is a brutal staircase up which you have to drag your own bags, which makes it completely unsuitable for the elderly or whoever is unable to get their luggage up five flights of stairs. The rooms are nice although a bit small, unfortunately the street noise is extremely loud at night so windows have to be kept closed, whilst aircon is not in an optimal state and looks as if it is never cleaned. In regards to housekeeping the bed sheets are pulled straight, but for the rest there is no proper cleaning (during our two days they did not clean the tables or hoover the floor). Upon check out we had a “free coffee” with the owner / proprietor, we shook hands, made some minibar payment in cash, all was in order. Until we were in the train and I received an SMS from my bank to inform me that the hotel had deducted the third night after all, at a moment in time the owner knew we would be on our way and unable to return. I immediately called the hotel, to be told by the owner ‘there were some unpaid minibar items, such as chocolate’ and ‘he had to check with his business partner’. I agreed with him by phone (and sent him an SMS) that he would send me a note with whatever minibar charges he thought we should pay, but that he would reverse the extra night charges. I did not receive any response to my SMS, which made me aware that he was going to rip us off for the night we did not stay. Of course we have escalated this to our bank, who are in the process of reclaiming the funds because we obviously did not sign for the second credit card payment. So be aware, this is one shameless outlet. Better look for someplace else.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband in June this year, and what a treat it was! Hidden in a little alley way just beside the amazing town square, Diamonds and Pearls is the perfect base for style conscious travelers who also like to watch their budget. The hotels is lovingly decorated with an eclectic mix of furniture and decorative pieces (much better than the average flea market find), you can tell the owners have a personal hand in it. The lady who checked us in was super friendly, same for the lady who served us breakfast. Buttery croissants to melt in your mouth! It's got a lovely little courtyard with Moroccan influences, really charming. All the rooms are different I believe, our room was not super big but very cosy with a comfortable bed. Antwerp has got so much to offer in terms of food but if you are looking for an authentic Flemish dinner experience go to Marilou's Vlaamse Kost, just around the corner from the hotel. All in all a perfect stay, we will definitely come back!

Dear Diamonds Owners, This is a tourist trap I am VERY disappointed and so frustrated! My stay did not match my expectations at all! I paid an expensive price compare to other choices in Anvers for the "cottage" your 4 beds accommodation... WHAT A JOKE ! The comfort of the bedroom does not match the price I paid: - average quality of matrix - small bathroom (I felt I was in a cheap student accommodation) not enough space to brush your teeth, shower broken... - no privacy: neighbors can see us coming out from the bathroom or waking up in the morning... what a joke! - Another joke: during the day my mum was chating with your nice staff about a nice mirror she saw. After diner when we came back, the staff put the mirror away because you said so... "The owner is scared you might steal it!!" OMG !!! I am not sure if you understand the concept of hospitality... My mum felt VERY upset and sad... - Our bedroom was not reflecting what I saw online - Same for breakfast 16EUR is too expensive for the quality of the ingredients you serve (industrial croissants and jam…). Just outside your hotel you have amazing coffee place much cheaper and better !!! - 26 EUR for the parking haha… at 10m you have a parking for 18EUR for 24h All this details show that you are more interested by your profit than taking care of your customers!

Very nicely decorated both in the common areas and the rooms. Very convenient location close to everything and a very reasonable price for what is offered. I did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on this aspect. For sure will prefer it next time I visit this beautiful city!
