The balcony looked over the street with a very partial view of the sea. The problem was the street was noisy all night until about 5 am. That is not the hotel's fault. You can get courtyard away from the street.

This is a great hotel within 2 min walking distance to the beach. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of breakfast buffet. Fairly quiet but due to no carpets (normal in hot countries/areas)

Location was great, 2 minute walk from lots of restaurants, and 5 min walk from the beach. The room was spacious and clean. A couple of things which could have been better: the shower didn’t drain properly, causing a bit of flooding in the room; the tea was not replaced/refilled and I had to call reception to ask them to bring some more up as I like a cup of tea in the mornings; the in-room phone didn’t work so when calling reception for the tea and an iron, I had to use my phone. However the staff were very polite and I would stay here again.

This is our second year visiting The Hotel Helios. Once again we had a fantastic stay there. The staff are extremely friendly and always on hand to help and advise with anything. The hotel is well positioned near to the beach and all the local shops and restaurants. The train station is just a five minute walk away so we were able to visit Cannes easily. It is a five minute walk to catch the ‘Petit Train’ which is a 20 minute ride into Antibes. We went on this several times as the trip is a great way to see the local sights between Juan Les Pins and Antibes where there are many shops and restaurants. We will definitely visit again and recommend to friends .

The rooms are very nice with little terraces and modern facilities. The parking is incredibly convenient and absolutely worth reserving. The local area would be great were it not for the fact that major works are being undertaken on the beach and as such instead of being accessible 100m from the hotel it's closer to half a km. The hotel normally have arrangements with a couple of local restaurants for private beach and sun lounger access but these restaurants are shut. Beach proximity was a key selling point for us so it was extremely disappointing not to know in advance and before paying! Were it not for this I would have scored the hotel as excellent across the board.
