Shell We Dance? Charming Bungalow with Fabulous Location and Private Pool!

Like so many homes on Anna Maria Island, our home was severely flooded. Professional photos are coming, but until they are in, we thought you may enjoy a sneak peek!
We made a few needed changes in the floor plan, and believe it is at its best ever! We cannot thank those who reached out to us and wished us well, and those understanding guests whose vacations were upended by the storm and its toll on our humble home. It is with much gratitude that we thank you for your kindness, understanding, prayers, and love. Shell We Dance is back and better than EVER!!
Sweet vintage 1950's bungalow/cottage with all the charm of the island! Beautifully decorated, fully fenced back yard with private pool, (second building is the original garage where bikes and beach gear are stored). Located on the island's much sought after north end, it is a short walk to Bean Point Beach, Bay Front Beach and Park. Crystal clear waters of the gulf, white sands, and island breezes await!

2 bedrooms, 2 baths. Cozy living room with queen sized foldout sofa, screened in lanai, kitchen, and laundry room. With full sized washer and dryer included in the home and complimentary bikes to explore the island. Other items at the home for your use during your stay are beach towels, pool toys, beach chairs, a cart to roll all your gear to the beach, and pack-n-play for baby. Many accoutrements included!

Everything was great and we especially appreciated how nicely the place was stocked with utensils, etc., which were not the usual cheap junk property managers usually find but quality all the way around.One major suggestion: We sat outside or tried and we were eaten alive by mosquitos and other flying bugs. I mean, we were bitten all over and insect repellant didn't even work! What you need is a significant bug zapper. That would improve the experience exponentially. Thank you.

Cute beach home close to Bean Pointe! This was our second time staying at this property. This home was perfect before, but has only gotten better with recent renovations after the hurricane in '24. The property is exceptionally clean and functional. You will love the pool and one of our favorite spots was the screened in lanai! The owners are incredibly responsive and they have a great team that manages their property!

This is the 2nd time we stayed at this property. We visited the week of July 7th, 2025. The property is exactly as pictured in the listing. It is beautifully decorated, has a nice large outdoor pool area with plenty of seating. The AC is nice and cool for those summer nights. The property is fully stocked with everything you need. There are four bikes available for use and a very short ride to our favorite breakfast and ice cream establishment Two Scoops. We biked to Pine Ave, Ginny and Janes, Mademoiselle, Harrys, the surrounding parks and beaches. The walk to Bean Point beach is less than 5 minutes and we were delighted that the property had a wagon available for use with chairs and an umbrella. There was even a day that we purchased ice cream from a boat on the beach. And best of all, we were able to bring our sweet dog who enjoyed herself as much as we did. I would highly recommend this property and hope to visit again soon.

I can't say enough positive things about this property and the owners. Almost afraid to say anything in order to keep it a secret. But Don and his wife deserve the business. Unfortunately the house was damaged by the huricanes of 2024 like many others. They rebuilt and Shell We Dance is better than ever! Everything is new including decorations, appliances, beach toys, bikes etc. It's beatifully decorated. The pool is clean and is a wonderful place for a relaxing swim after a long, hot beach day. The owners always happily answered my emails and questions - usually within an hour. The house has everything you could ask for, including a great location. Five minute walk to Bean Point, off-street parking, and a quiet neighbrhood. It's cozy but plenty of room for two couples with one or two children. This place is wonderful! We will be back! Reat assured, the island is back and so is Shell We Dance .

A slice of paradise!

We had an amazing week at Don & Sally’s place. This is our 4th trip to AMI and Shell We Dance is by far the best place we have stayed. The decor is so chic & beachy, they thought of everything! Just a 5 min walk to beautiful Bean Point for a beach day or to catch the sunset. The backyard is a tropical oasis, the pool was perfect and the fenced yard is super private and allowed us to bring our pups. We would definitely stay here again.

715 North Bay Boulevard is a beautiful cottage. This location has everything you will need for a stay, easy access to Bean Point beach access, lots of nice restaurants and beach stores with a short drive. Thank you for sharing your beautiful little home with us.
