The staff was great! Could use some upgrades like new mattresses they were saggy. Devote could also be upgraded the grounds looked better than the rooms.

good hotel, staff friendly, no problem with luggage because of elevator, give it three stars.

Nice place, clean, nice bed, no homeless hanging out, however ,small bathroom and old huge TV in room. No food available at 2am when we got in, which is understandable, however no recommendations from front desk except pizza delivery that ends at 2am. Hotel is in a weird area I thought, like a residential hood, no stores or businesses near by to walk to, that I was aware of. We went searching for hotel vending machines, book said they were on a couple different floors, however, the first place we went, there weren't any. Another guest pointed us to the basement where the laundry room was...vending machines there. We didn't stay long, basically slept and left early next day. Their airport shuttle was really fast to come get us. I think this place is just too expensive....in my opinion.

2 hour check in was terrible, requested service took until next day

That says it all, 2 hour check in. No desk assistance

The hotel is located in a convenient location near downtown, but it is older and showing neglect.

Great hotel, clean, awesome view of inlet. Nice staff!!

Hotel staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The rooms could really use some updating...ours was a bit musty, tv was old, tub was funky (I wouldn't have washed my kids in it.) the bar/restaurant was really cozy and a fun atmosphere. My one big complaint is the lack of breakfast. They have a cafe that sells muffins and burritos and such, but it was not of good quality and highly overpriced. I would skip the cafe food all together.

My husband and I booked our hotel through Orbitz and chose the "pay now" option. When we arrived to the hotel, the clerk informed us that they had cancelled our reservation, because of our late arrival, even though we had already FULLY PAID for the room. They refused to refund us and told us we had to call Orbitz. We called Orbitz and they too would not refund us. The room was nice and clean. We were not impressed with the professionalism of the staff.

There's nothing exceptional about the Inlet Towers, but I've never had a serious problem their either. (I've probably stayed there half a dozen times.) It's in a good location for access to downtown Anchorage or for getting around town by bus. There is a good semi-gourmet food store with good coffee, salad bar and take-out options across the street.

Perhaps, I would call this a dark horse hotel...people know about this hotel or they don't... it is close to down town Anchorage and near the bus stop that will take you to the airport. I had a good time.

Needed a cheap hotel over Christmas break, found what we needed. The hotel staff is not necessarily very friendly (this could've been just the Los Anchorage thing), but the room was clean and big. Internet got interrupted a few times when I ran skype (complaining that something extremely illegal is being done).

Inlet Tower is renting whole floors for longer term use, and tenants coming back from bars loud and rowdy.

Staff didn't understand English. the housekeeping supervisor was not Very helpful when we asked for toilet paper she gave us a box of tissues. she seemed bothered and inconvenienced by us asking her for help

The Inlet Tower is about as cheap as you can get in Anchorage without going to a dump. The location is pretty solid (about a 10 minute walk to downtown), and most rooms have a pretty awesome view (especially if you get a room overlooking the inlet). The only real problem with the Inlet Tower is that it needs an update. Everything is obviously a little on the old side (especially the tube TVs in many rooms), but the amenities a good (free parking, free wi-fi, fridge in room, etc.). It's a decent place, with a solid location, and better than average amenities compared to many place in Anchorage. Don't expect to blown away by the quality of the place, but staff has always been friendly and the place is clean and comfortable.

very friendly staff, quick check in too! close to downtown, great views.

Given the price I expected something nicer. I would not stay there again. Next time I would stay closer downtown too. The only positive was the complimentary airport shuttle with a friendly driver.

I had to book a room which cost better than twice as much for one night because the staff at Econo Inn in Anchorage forced me out of my room a day early. I had no where to stay until I complained to Orbitz. A man named charlie hasn't gotten me a refund or adjustment for having to get another motel room as the one I had reserved wasn't honored by the motel staff. My booking was from July 23rd to July 29th. I was forced out of my room on the 28th and told my early check in on the 23rd was the reason. Trying to argue with ignorant people is a waste of time. Trying to get Orbitz to refund money for anything seems to be impossible.

Passing through anchorage. Room outdated and not super clean. Restaurant was fun though.

Hi Jennie, thanks so much for taking the time to give us your feedback! Unfortunately during the slow winter months we only have our Cafe open in the morning. However, May through September our PubHouse does offer a full service breakfast. There is also a store across the street from us that offers several delicious pastry options. We hope you come back and try our breakfast this summer!

Hello, it sounds like there may have been some confusion on this reservation. Reservations are held until 3am, when our system runs for the night. However, you should have still been able to have access to your room that evening/very early morning. I'd love to look into the situation further to find out what happened for you. Please feel free to call the hotel and request to speak with myself.
