We checked in to our hotel and the room was so hot, we tried to adjust the thermostat but come to find out it was broken and stuck on heat. When we informed the front desk they offered for us to change rooms. When we went into the new room it was stinky and musty smelling, we told the front desk again and they gave us a third room to move into. Needless to say we were not impressed. Luckily we only had to stay there one night.

We didn't even stay. When checking in, the worker asked why we chose this hotel. I said location and pool. He said, you know the pool is closed right now. Then helped us find a different hotel that had a functioning pool.

Not sure why, but the front desk upgraded me to a more expensive room on the 1st floor that was a pleasant surprise. Nice room and the wife was happy so nothing negative to say about the stay there at all.

It was great and my kid loved the pool. Only thing that should change is the cost of parking. I'm already paying for a room shouldn't have to pay for parking too.

The hotel was run-down. There were shady characters standing out front smoking cigarettes. The free shuttle service advertised on Orbitz does not exist, they also charged for parking even though the parking is advertised as free. I was ready to cancel my reservation and stay elsewhere, but Tyler at the front desk was so nice that I gave it a try. My room was a normal hotel room, as expected. However, I found hairs in the tub, a used bar of soap still in the tub, trash on my night stand and it smelled vaguely of cigarette smoke. It was comfy, but quite worn down and not very clean. No coffee maker. The continental breakfast consisted of instant oatmeal in a cup, watered down coffee and granola bars. I kid you not. I've had cleaner, better experiences in hostels and been surrounded by much more awesome people. I was expecting bland, no frills, but I was not expecting dirty, run-down and eating "breakfast" with crackheads.

staff was sarcastic and snotty except for one guy. apparently they were out of pillows so we couldnt get any extras, you hve to pay extra to park in their own parking lot?!?!? the breakfast is a joke,no ice machines, and nothing ever got done about the jerks partying in the hallway til 4 am .. never again

Great, helpful staff. Khaleel, the manager, was more than helpful and genuinely happy to help us when we had a request. Our flight got delayed and he let us check out late so we didn't have to just leave our luggage in the front and we could still enjoy our last day. We used this hotel as our 10 day "home base" during our trip. We didn't plan on being in the room much since we had so many day trips or overnights planned. It was a good, safe place to keep the luggage we didn't want to tote around everyday. It was great to have a little kitchenette with basic needs (plates, pans, etc.). We got to make ourselves breakfast every morning before heading out on our trips. I liked that they operate with a "Green" option, meaning room service would only be done when requested. This meant my husband and I could comfortably leave our things when we left for an overnight stay in another town without worrying about anyone being in our room. Khaleel and Marjorie were especially pleasant but all the staff members we interacted with were so helpful!

Comfortable hotel, nice crew, the free complementary breakfast should be improve, since only coffee and muffins was presented. The location was good, the downtown was like 15 min walking distance, nice weather. The hotel provide a free shuttle to the airport which was plus for me. Cleans room, and the new guy cleaning the rooms was humble and very nice to help me with the baggages and area information. The shuttle driver from Santo Domingo was excellent, he explain very well the city, places to go, eat and enjoy the area.

Step was very nice and friendly room is clean location was on the outer edge of downtown so I'll little bit of a walk to get to shopping and restaurants. Reasonable rate for sure. only drawback was breakfast they just had granola bars oatmeal and some fruit

On arrival at check in I was asked if I needed a parking pass and was told it is an extra $10.00 a day and is not advertised anywhere. Parking lot is not secure, no fence or anything. You can park on the street at metered spaces for free from 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM but during the day it is $2.50 per 2 hours and you have to feed the meter every 2 hours. It will not allow you to put in more than 2 hours at a time. They advertise a pool and spa and even have signs on the wall showing direction. The pool was closed for some type of maintenance for three days and the spa was taken out almost a year ago but they just haven't stopped advertising it yet. Very poor grab and go breakfast, not much choice. No dishes, silverware, cooking utensils or coffee pot in the rooms, however, they will give you what you need if you go to the desk and ask for it. Room was super small and no room for a comfortable chair. Work station in the room consisted of a 3'x4' wooden table that was about to fall down. It was so wobbly I could not use it. The last day I wanted to print my boarding passes but the public computer was broke but the lady at the desk did print them for me on the fax machine after I downloaded them on a jump drive. All of the employees were very nice and apologetic about the things I mentioned.

Services at this hotel are not what I have experineced in other cities. Some desk staff unfriendly when asked questions about basic services and amenitites. Limited parking.

We booked this hotel because it was close to the rental car return, was close to downtown restaurants, had a free airport shuttle and had a pool. All of those things, except the pool, were great. The pool was out of order to the great disappointment of my kids. The room was comfortable and clean when we checked in but we didn't get any sleep. Someone (or maybe a dog) in the room above us paced all night and the flooring creaked and snapped and popped with every step keeping my whole family awake. For the price, I think the parking should be included ($10 per day charge). Luckily, we didn't have any trouble finding parking spots for our 2 vehicles. I guess it's nice that they provide something, but the breakfast is really minimal....granola bars, apples/oranges, instant oatmeal packets. We brought pop tarts but there was no toaster to warm them.

Location was excellent, easy to get around town. Walking distance to just about anywhere in the downtown vicinity. Staff in hotel were very helpful in making recommendations.

This hotel has a lot to offer being close to downtown near food and entertainment. Have frequented the hotel often and the staff is always friendly. Was an issue with the pool and Jacuzzi so unfortunately they were closed. Seems they've had issues with them so its best to call ahead if it is something you desire.

The young man at the front desk was very helpfull. Great personality and clean cut. The room was nice bed was comfy. The one and only thing I can say that was bad at all was I found multiple different colors and types of hairs in the bed when I went to lay down.

Comfortable. I was told there would be a breakfast, but it was only a continental breakfast and by the time I arrived around 9am, most of the food was gone. Overall I could not complain.

I travel a lot for work and this hotel is becoming a great place to stay. The jacuzzi is always nice to relax in before going to work and is very close to the downtown life at nights.

Second time Ive stayed at this hotel and it is very nice. pool was closed, which was a bummer, but understand that it'll happen from time to time. Enjoyed my stay quite well

Had a real nice enjoyable stay. Close to downtown which made walking to stores and restaurants fantastic.

This was a business trip that required high speed internet access and a quiet place to work without distractions. The wifi was" high speed lite", which was a bit slow for my needs. My online tasks took longer than they should have. The doors kept slamming as other guests entered and exited their rooms. This continued through the day and night. Less of a concern: the outlets on the kitchen counter did not work. The microwave turntable did not work. The heat/air conditioner was controlled no doubt from somewhere, but not from the thermostat in the room. The fan never stopped. Parking is in fact available, but for a charge.
