The room was very comfortable. We booked a shared bathroom option and it was very conveniently located to our room. We appreciated the robes and slippers in our room. Breakfast at the cafe across the street was excellent! Only negative was the walls were a bit thin and we could hear our neighbors talking in the morning.

Got a room right off the road and was super noisy all night. Literally all night. Car and motorcycles were right in the ear.

This a quaint and welcoming Inn in a fabulous location. Our room had a deck off the back and several of the rooms have views of Cook Inlet. The coastal trail is steps from the Inn. I rented a bike and rode the trail! 10% off if you are a guest. Gorgeous! Views of the Ak range and Denali and Foreaker! Close to Simon and Seaforts for dinner and Snow City for Breakfast. I love this place!!

I was able to check in early in the morning, the host was very cooperative and friendly, the room and everything else was nice, except for Internet - I could not connect most of the time when I needed to get something done.

Parking for hotel is a problem, very expensive $ 25 to $ 30 a day, especially poor in winter. Staff is very helpful. Age is effecting hotel comfort and hotel needs a bit of updating.

Very nice hotel clean, comfortable, close into downtown.

Needed a local room for one night. The Whale Inn was perfect. Convenient to resturants, shops and train station. When traveling we just need a place to rest and regroup. This was perfect with a nice continental breakfast included.

Excellent location....directly in downtown. Two blocks from downtown attractions.

Great little B&B. Downtown Anchorage close to everything

Enjoyable smaller inn, helpful and personable staff. Already booked our next stay. Our visits are in the winter for holiday festivities and it works well for us. No off street parking would be the only drawback.

Thank you for taking the time to review our place. We are sorry about the slow internet connection. You were here on a weekend that we had a lot of people staying with us for a conference. There was probably much more internet traffic than normal, slowing down the speed. We are always looking to improve guest experience at the Copper Whale and this feedback is helpful. We are glad you enjoyed everything else and hope we will see you again sometime!
