The hotel is in a lovely position, opposite Vondel Park, is very close to the major museums and close shops and restaurants. The staff are very helpful and the hotel has a very relaxed vibe. I really enjoyed my stay and the room was a sanctuary to come back to after a busy day sightseeing and shopping.

Great location next to Vondel park. Nearby museums and some places to eat. Easy tram rides to other parts of the city. The hotel itself was clean, everything worked except for the TV which needed a new remote.The staff was great. Very helpful with questions and suggestions.

Nice location good for tram and buses to get around.Very close to all museums.Staff very pleasant and polite. Bedroom was in the basement which I hadnt realised so not the nicest view. Had a problem with the heating the first night it was exceptionally cold. Staff rectified it the following morning. Tv only worked on the last night due to server problems and had limited english channels. We weren't aware of a downstairs lounge area until leaving and that there were an array of eating places etc closeby in Leidseplein. More information from the hotel at check in would have been helpful but overall the hotel was value for money.

Bed was made and room was cleaned everyday. 3 minute walk to get tram into central Amsterdam or about 15-20 minute on foot to central Amsterdam. Many local shops close to hotel and vondel park on your doorstep would recommend and will also be staying here again

Mold all in the bathroom- more than surface, appears to be painted over and no mold is no coming back through. Sink was leaking the whole trip despite apparently being fixed. Air unit on wall was broken and not working.

Excellent location! But THAT isn’t the best part. The staff members were exceptional. A special shout-out to those who went above-and-beyond in service, kindness, supportive information and general wow-ness—Sunny, Mariam, Nicole, and Medi (dang, this isn’t quite right, but the day manager). Although the amenities and room conditions were not stellar, we will stay again because of the staff!! Additionally, the staff worked to compensate for what the hotel lacked. Thank you all!!!

Sunny is the reason I’d return if she were still working there. I wouldn’t consider the trip back otherwise. She went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. She even gave me a late check-out because of some issues with the room, like the heater and the remote control on the TV. Also some things that were missing from the room, which she quickly resolved. However, I must say that the location was prime. The hotel was walking distance to everything I needed. But the room definitely needed some updating. There was no refrigerator or phone in the room, which was a bit odd for me. Overall, if you’re traveling alone, it’s a great option.

Really a beautiful space all around--the common areas are well-appointed, and my individual room was quite large and very comfortable. This hotel is really convenient for getting around: it's a quick walk to the Museumplein, and the tram is just a couple of blocks away. There is also a good grocery store, some restaurants, and a great gelato shop just on the other side of Vondel Park--a six minute walk or so. I only spent two nights here this time, but will definitely try to return on my next trip to Amsterdam!
