This is a really lovely hotel - a pleasure to stay in. Our room was very tastefully decorated as was the rest of the hotel, and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was second to none and the bar area extremely comfortable and relaxing to sit in. Liam and all the staff couldn't have been more attentive and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and they all went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. I would strongly recommend Pillows Anna to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
This hotel is a beautifully restored old building. It is modern and in a residential area. Right next to Vondelpark and easy walking to central Amsterdam. The room we initially booked was very small, so we paid for an upgrade when we got there. The lounge area is relaxing with some board games for you to play. The breakfast/coffee area is also clean and modern. It feels like you are staying in someone's house - a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the city.
Stayed one night after a two-week trek through Europe. We wanted to make sure our last night was luxurious and relaxing. So happy we chose Pillows! It is the utmost in modern boutique luxury. The check-in process is fun, they seat you at a table with a glass of wine and some snacks and have a host check you in and help you navigate the city. The living room and dining rooms are some of the best interior design I've seen in a while. The bed and PILLOWS are insanely cozy. I inquired about the bed linens and the candle burning in the hallway because I'm interested in buying both. The host said they are custom made for Pillows and will be available to purchase online soon. Fun fact: free cake all night! My husband and I wandered in kind of drunk after failing to find an open waffle place. They have 24/7 dining, so we were about to order a slice of cake but they offered us free slices from their "house cake"! As many as we wanted!! It was a delicious orange spice cake with white chocolate frosting.
We stayed in a Luxury Middle room for 6 nights in September. We were welcomed to the hotel with a coffee in the beautiful sitting area and Liam pointed out areas of interest on the map provided. Our lovely quiet room looked out over the garden with a window we could open if we wished. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom stylish and spotless. The location of the hotel suited us very well as it was just outside the city centre but the trams were very close by and convenient for everywhere in Amsterdam. All the staff members we met were very friendly and welcoming. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others wishing to enjoy Amsterdam.
We stayed here for a couple of nights and had the most peaceful and stylish stay. The staff are all super friendly. The decor is very cool, and the terrace and public areas are done up extremely tastefully. The rooms are incredibly cosy, clean modern bathrooms, and of course the pillows are delightfully soft :) It seems the "it" place to be at the moment as Godiva held a chocolate event the day we were leaving. Location wise, it's in a rather posh area of Amsterdam near the park and although not right in the centre of the city, it is only a short walk or even shorter tram ride into the touristy area. Usually we are quite picky with hotels and always find some fault but would definitely highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway or longer!
We have had a wonderful stay at this hotel this weekend for my birthday. The staff couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. The rooms are so comfortable and the bed was out of this world, one of the best nights sleep I've ever had! We have loved every minute of it and it's it's in such a great quiet location but not too far out the way. The tram is a couple of minutes walk away which means you can travel all round Amsterdam with not too far to walk at the end of the day :). We will most definitely stay here again when we visit Amsterdam.
we stayed here from september 3-9th and it is already our favorite hotel that we've ever stayed at. the hotel is beautiful and the staff were just wonderful. we were welcomed by faisal (i hope i am not butchering the spelling) who made notes on a map based on our itinerary. we were so glad that we had a chance to say goodbye to him on our last night too. i happened to fall down and hurt my knee our second day there and the staff kindly brought me ice and extra pillow to elevate it. the beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept well during our entire stay. we especially liked that it is near vondelpark and a little outside the center. we passed a few other hotels that we had considered when planning our trip and were so happy that we chose pillows. it was perfect for us. we hope to stay there any time that we visit amsterdam.
We have just spent three nights at this superb boutique hotel. The room (small double) was excellent, exquisite furnishings throughout the hotel, very attentive and friendly staff. Real personal touch, all the extra touches were there. I loved the food being prepared in front of you, it felt like being at a friends for dinner. This hotel was the icing on the cake for our short stay in wonderful Amsterdam
I love this hotel, everything is stylish and well thought out. The decor is lovely with a calm stylish grey/pale green/gold/white theme running throughout. The public areas are really lovely to sit and have a drink in, almost too nice, you feel like you have to be on your best behaviour! We booked a standard luxury room and got upgraded to a better room (I think it was a medium but could of been grande), it was stunning. Everything in it was brand new and equally stylish and good quality as in the reception areas. The bed was huge and so comfortable with the best bedding I have ever had in a hotel. It had everything you could need and was very modern with a touch screen system for lighting and air con. We were at the front of the building and had a little balcony which was sweet. We found it very quiet with the exception of the air con which could get quite noisy at times. The two members of staff we spoke to were really welcoming and helpful. The location is good, right by the park but not in the main tourist centre so more interesting and less busy. Overall a lovely stay in a lovely hotel.
From check in to check out the staff were amazing nothing was rushed and it was a genuine welcome by Adriaan,we were given time to settle in with a drink in the living area before being shown to our room, the room was beautifully furnished with a lovely comfortable bed with very comfortable pillows, there was everything provided even a full sized hair dryer ,wine ,water and bathroom toiletries which were replenished everyday. The hotel is near the museum quarter and a nice thirty minute stroll to the old town. I can't recommend this hotel enough the decor and the ambience of it you really feel at home,we have stayed in many hotels all over the world but we love the concept of this hotel ,i.e. they come to you to check you in over a refreshing drink instead of being made to wait at a desk etc,we didn't get chance to dine there as we had a full shedule for the few days there but we are hoping to return in the near future and sample the food.Well done to the host and all the staff for making our stay so amazing.
