The houseboat was the perfect way to stay in Amsterdam. It had everything we needed, plus we felt close to nature in the city. Close to all public transport. Bernard was very responsive and accommodating, supplying us with fresh towels and trash removal halfway through our 7-day stay.

Not a true studio. More like a partitioned off master bedroom.

Not really a studio but more like a partitioned off master bedroom that's unfinished. The so called kitchenette has nothing more than a sink, refrigerator and kettle/coffee machine. No microwave or stove which would make it a "true" kitchenette. The hosts were fine, but not fully attentive to questions when asked. The so called balcony didn't hold more than 2 foldable chairs in the "front" porch, not the scenic back canal view. Unfinished particleboard walls made it appear cheap and thrown together for monetary purposes. Maybe others found it artistic? It's no where close to public transit, restaurants or grocery stores. It's fine if you rent a car and want seclusion. It's also near the University and airport so those with noise sensitivity will need ear plugs. Again, the hosts were nice. This location was not public transit friendly.

Great stay

This is an awesome little property to stay in a lovely neighbourhood and your own space. So much better than a hotel room has most things you need and walking distance to trams trains etc. thank you for letting us rent your lovely place. Cheers Jude and Russ

Quiet oasis on the outskirts

Was a perfect place to rejuvenate from our daily adventures. All of the public transportations options just 15 minute walk to get anywhere you wish. Loved the cozy and clean accommodations, kitchenette, accessible lighting, outlets, storage and seating - perfectly appointed for essential travel needs. Check in/out was easy. Stayed 2 nights with my sisters - very clean, host was helpful before arrival, check in was easy and the accommodation, although basic, was very clean, well arranged and had all you needed for a short stay. Easy travel into centre of city by tram.

Very comfortable, cosy suite

This suite was perfect for our short term stay in Amsterdam. It is conveniently located close to transit stops which makes it seamless to get downtown. Checking in and out was good too as the owner meets you to deliver the key and show you around the suite.

Simple waterside home. Comfortable, host very helpful. Directions from host should have been easy but line 51 not going from Central Station so not so easily accessible. Though shows as having kitchen, details show it has no cooking facilities.

What a gem of a place

I booked the houseboat to stay with my sisters and we all fell in love with the place. It was very convenient and cosy and not too far from Amsterdam centre. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and we will definitely treasure the days we spent there. Thank you Bernard for this lovely private studio.

Cosy hideaway

We appreciated the warm cosy space for a windy and wet weekend in Amsterdam. The hosts kindly let us drop off our bags earlier than check in and the property was spotless with everything you'd need. Beds were comfortable and the space was really quiet. The bathroom was lovely and there was lots of space in the studio. The area is quiet but there are bars and restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance as well as buses and the metro into town.

Incredible Property, Wonderful Hosts

Our stay at Stadionbuurt could not have been more wonderful. The property is very easily accessed from public transport, both from the airport and from in and out of downtown. The hosts greeted us in person and gave a very helpful tour. The space itself was absolutely spotless and incredibly well-provisioned. It was quiet, beautiful, and incredibly unique. We would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Amsterdam!

Place away from the hustle and bustle

A lovely studio on the houseboat about 20mins by tram (24) a way of seeing the city without staying in it. Monique organised parking for us, she and Bernarde we very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and exploring the city from the tranquility of the houseboat base.

Wonderful studio in quiet neighborhood

We loved our five days in this studio apartment/houseboat. It was in a quiet part of town, but had great access to the airport, to good restaurants, to parks, and it was a quick 20 minute bike ride pretty much anywhere in the city. The apartment was clean and quiet and had everything we needed. We hope to stay here again if we ever come back!

This was a cool rental staying on the water. It was quiet with only occasional humorous duck quacks. It is a very short walk to the tram station which gives convenient access to the city center. We really liked the kind couple who oversee the rental property.

Cosy and great location

The houseboat studio was a lovely place to stay. Although it is a little way out of town, about half an hour's journey, transport in Amsterdam is so easy that it wasn't difficult to get to at all, and gives you a chance to see more of Amsterdam. The location is so tranquil that it was nice to be able to relax after the hustle of the city centre. The owners and their family were very welcoming, (with great communication and help given before my arrival too) given us all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. Whilst there are no cooking facilities in the studio, plates, glasses, cutlery, were provided should you require them. We loved our little retreat and would highly recommend it. Thank you Cal

An excellent place to stay

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It’s a small space but was perfect for just me. The place was very clean and welcoming. Extra props for the extremely comfortable bed and soft linens. The hosts were very nice and gave me privacy. The walk to the front door from the nearest tram stop was a tiny bit longer than I would have liked with my luggage. But there’s a walking trail just to the west and it’s peaceful and beautiful. I liked being outside the main area knowing it’s really easy to get there when I wanted. Highly recommend this stay!
