perfect location!! we are in the middle of everything, walking distance to the centrale station. Plenty of restuarants nearby.The place is affordable but it is safe and clean. The staff are great too.
If you have a room in the front of property it is impossible to sleep for the noise in the street. We got this hotel unknowing that was in the middle of red zone. The room was ok, close to central station. Not 4 star under our view.
The staff was amazing and very service oriented. My room was in the middle so I didn't have any street noise. Busy area right near the train station makes for great people watching and shopping.
We chose the property based on price and location to the train station. Very centrally located but more importantly the staff was incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to assist with directional guidance. Two great restaurants across the street; Fiona’s (Mexican) and a fondue place.
The Hotel Luxer was one of the best, if not the best, place we have stayed in Europe. . The staff, from housekeeping to the front desk were absolutely phenomenal! The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and the location was top notched. We were within a 10 minute walk from the train/Metro station ( 6 mins), Anne Franks House (10 mins), the main Red Light District late night attractions (2 blocks) and countless restaurants, cafe and coffeehouses (on the same street). We stayed on the 2nd floor and had our window open every night. The streets were packed and the noise level was minimal. Everyone was friendly, professional and willing to assist with any "hiccups". If I could give the Hotel and staff more than 5 stars I would. Not only would we stay here on our next visit, I have recommended this establishment to friends who are going next month!

I was surprised 3 star hotel has a such a beautiful service they have provided to me. All the Staff are very friendly, smily face, and good attitude. Hotel along itself very clean and the room was excellent. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Great location, easy to access everywhere. Over all, I definitely would choose this hotel for my next trip to Amsterdam. Oh I must say taht, after check-out they give a such a nice snacks for your journey. Well done Hotel Luxer!!

This hotel is very near the red light district, but also within walking distance to the train station. It’s okay overall, but don’t let the name mislead you.
The staff were really helpful and nice. One of them even let me borrow his personal umbrella for the day.

Mr Christoph at the reception is friendly,attentive and always helpful.The room we had was clean,neat and the toilet has hair dryer.Location is great,near all the attractions.Highly recommended.
