I enjoyed the location of the hotel, its cleanliness, helpful staff and the breakfast. Yes, it is a wonderful continental breakfast with a small price. The museums, shopping district and major attractions are all close by. I walked everywhere.

With staff so friendly (ask them anything and get a helpful answer) this is a very good value/money choice. And especially good one for hunting unique souvenirs - just keep walking in Central Station's overall direction and watch left and right for antique shops. One of my best stays in Amsterdam.
