On the last night of our journey we stayed there because it was not far off the freeway. We were happy with the staff the cleanliness and the quietness here. We ordered a pizza in which arrived on time. The breakfast in the morning was very nice and complete for a continental breakfast.
Excellent place to stay. Clean and comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was typical for a Comfort Inn, with the usual items available. Everything was clean and maintained, which helps a lot. Would definitely stay there again.
A very nice stay. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and modern. There were several choices at breakfast - the area kept very clean. The pool and spa was very clean and inviting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.
I visit the Comfort Inn in Story City, IA annually for a quilt retreat. There are 20 of us sewing and enjoying the amenities of this hotel. Manager Roy Watson goes above and beyond to accommodate a group of women who need special items in the conference (sewing) room such as ironing boards and irons, extra seating and a lot of tables. He even brings in freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies for our snack table. These are also available at the front desk every day...YUM! The staff is friendly, professional and a pleasure to do business with. We will continue to "retreat" at this hotel as long as our group holds together! I have also stayed at the Comfort Inn on other occasions and the service/treatment is the same....wonderful! Also, the included breakfast is tasty with both hot and cold items.
This is one of the best hotels our family has stayed at. Our family stayed in the whirlpool suite for a short getaway. Very clean, nice pool area, loved the lemon water and fresh chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. Breakfast was amazing with eggs, sausage & bacon, biscuits and gravy, and waffles. Taylor at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating while checking in. You can tell the management team cares about their customers! Will definitely be returning again!
My daughter is set to be married on July 15th. A year prior she had set up to have 10 rooms blocked off for wedding guests plus a room for the bride and groom on their wedding night. Periodically she would call to check and confirm on these and were told that everything was set and she was good to go. Several family members had tried to reserve their room only to find that none were available. My daughter called 5 days prior to see what was up only to find that her "blocked" rooms had been released due to no one booking before June 1st. No one had EVER informed her of this stipulation. And to top it off, they lost their honeymoon room as well. Hotel did offer another king room at an exorbitant price whereas my daughter declined. In tears she was very upset. Luckily I was able to book a nice room at the neighboring hotel at a much more reasonable price. Comfort Inn made no move to compensate her in any way! I for one have been a longstanding Wyndham rewards member, but never again will I step foot in another comfort Inn! In fact I think I will be cutting up my card and telling everyone I know what happened here. I'm sure my daughter and the groom's family will be doing the same.
Stayed here one night. Staff was friendly and efficient. Hotel was clean, bright, up to date. Pool was awesome, warm and plenty big for multiple guests. Room was very clean, good job staff! Fresh baked cookies in afternoon. Breakfast was really nice, many options including eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes and the regular hotel fare. Great place to stay. Only drawback is cost. Very expensive for the area, but only option with amenities. Supply and demand at work. Check for discounts. Another guest ahead of me paid $28 less with AAA and military.
Excellent place to stay. Roy and the staff go above and beyond to accommodate their visitors. Very clean. The breakfast was excellent. Ranks top to any other motel. I highly recommend this Comfort Inn.
This was our second stay at this Comfort Inn, and we would definitely stay again! This Comfort Inn is extremely well maintained, and the rooms are well kept and very clean. The manager and employees are very friendly, accommodating and professional. The warm continental breakfast in the morning was typical of the standard Comfort Inn breakfasts, but the kitchen was quite spacious and clean. Very nice hotel!
Stayed here for one night. Really nice array of food for the breakfast, the pool was enjoyable when we arrived around 9:30pm. The room was clean as well. The bed was amazing to sleep in. Overall, impressed with the cleanliness, friendliness of staff, and the overall hotel.
