The staff, the spacious room & the entrance and lobby area is AMAZING! I wish I would have booked the night before to enjoy a little more time! My husband and I enjoyed the pub & the alley bar! Good atmosphere filled with laughter and friendly waitress! Have to find a reason to come back!

HVAC broken in room. Room temperature was at 85. The front desk said they could not move me because I booked through Expedia. Ended up calling Expedia and they called the hotel and got me into another room. Other than that one instance the hotel is nice. I’ve stayed there 10+ times.

The suite that we had was old-looking and smelled old. The tub had mold on the tiles. The bathroom tile was dirty. The bar was excellent, we enjoyed ourselves at the outside bar and when they opened up the inside bar.

The room itself was in good condition, but the HVAC system was not in working order ever since we arrived. The first night we noticed that the AC was not working and the next day we took the issue to the front desk to which the issue resolved. The temperature dropped greatly that night and the heating was not working. Again the issue was reported to the front desk to where we received a space heater since it was the Thanksgiving and a work order had to be put in. The space heater helped but it would have been nice for the HVAC system to be in working order for the duration of the stay. The hotel staff was nice and tried to be helpful but was not able to do much since it was the holidays. I asked if any compensation could be made for the troubles and they stated they were not able to do anything. Overall the hotel was very nice for a historic hotel.

what a cool old hotel with great history! good location, beautiful setting, comfortable bed, lovely accommodations. my only issue was the cleanliness of the bathroom and the dust on the ceiling fans & sprinklers above the bed in our room. would def go back though, because the good far outweighed the bad!

The staff was AMAZING! I actually got sick while on our trip and the staff let me stay on for a longer check out. They were all super kind. The room was very pretty, clean and spacious. Very easy parking. Lovely history. We ate at Floyd’s and the food and service was great. Highly recommend!
