Decent hotel, nothing special but the price was great!

The front desk clerk was very nice and quick with checking us in. The room was huge, but the bathroom floor was a little dirty.

We were greeted by a friendly woman when checking in around 10pm. They had a cart for luggage, which I appreciated since I'm traveling with a small child and didn't want to leave anything in the car. Unfortunately, the first room we were given was very pungent, as if someone had smoked and used a heavy perfume to cover it up. Thankfully, the woman cheerfully moved us to another room that was fine. We found a few hairs here and there (pillow, shower) that made me feel the cleaning hadn't been thorough. The bed was comfortable and the sound from the a/c provided good white noise against the sounds from the nearby highway. In the morning, the luggage cart had disappeared, so we asked (twice) the manager on duty if the door at the end of the hall (closer to our room) was openable from the outside to ensure we wouldn't waste time. He said it was. So we drove around and unfortunately, it was not. When we informed him that it was broken, no apology. Look, I realize this is a Super 8 and not the Ritz, so I wasn't expecting fancy or luxurious. However, I did expect clean and a staff who were helpful, and feel this just missed the mark on both.

This place was okay for the price. My room was located at one end of the hotel, but they side door was not working so had to lug everything through the lobby and all the way down the hall. No elevators that I saw, so had to walk up the stairs. Luckily only 2 floors so wasn't too much of a problem. Other than that, was okay. Room was clean. Very warm in hallways and outside of rooms. Appeared to be preparing for some renovations.

Pool was green and out of order. Terrible coffee. Remote for TV had dead batteries. Maids didn't thoroughly clean the bathroom during my 3 night stay. Need to upgrade the place. Especially, the landscaping.

Good value, a clean roomy suite for a fair rate. Only shortcoming: old, out of date TV.

It was my husbands birthday and we wanted to get away for a day. We got into Amarillo late but no problem getting our room. It was large, comfee and quiet. There is an overlook above the pool area and we watched a bunch of kids spashing around, next time we will bring a suit. Our only hickup was the ice machine on our floor wasn't working we had to go down stairs to get some......ohhh what a hardship:) We will be back.

The registration clerk was unfriendly and rude. The room was clean but the sofa was so broken down I put a folded towel over the edge so it wouldn't dig into my leg. There was a charge for local calls. At the continential breakfast my husband was told he could not take a bagle to the room and if we got the sheets dirty we would be charged extra. Seriously? There was a refrig and a microwave in the room and we couldn't take food in? The front lobby looked like a storage room because there large cartons and boxes lined up along the wall. The best part of the stay was when we checked out!

Pleased with the size of the room. Near to all the activies we were attending. Room clean, but maid forgot to put extra toilet paper in room (had to ask at front desk). Continental breakfast was average, but nice.

It was very relaxing! I would've paid more for a hotel like that for sure! No problems in the room, the tv had a TON of channels so we were never bored. Perfect shower head strength. Had a separation of bedroom and sitting area with a couch, which made it even nicer. The pool was well taken care of and they even had autographed pictures of famous country singers that have stayed there. After the other hotels we had stayed in, this one felt like the ritz! Haha

We got in late so our stay was short but everything was great. The room was clean. We had wifi. Nice surprise to have the sitting room with kitchenette. Can't beat the price either.

Clean but older hotel. There were some problems with the electric and the drainage. The breakfast was poor. The heater didn't work properly and made noise all night.

We had two rooms on this trip booked. Of which, one party had to switch rooms three times to get a room that could be checked into without major problems. I would not recommend this location for future stays.

We booked this reservation for our trip to Arizona, however we had car troubles in Tulsa Ok. I called the manager and he declined to work with me or [...]on this reservation. I knew it was a non-refundable reservation when I booked, but due to the circumstanes I thought the manager should of been more flexable. Considering I have another reservation booked for our way back to Indiana I thought he would make some considertions, but no. He would not even refund a portion or offer any discounts for the upcoming reservation at the weekend. I would not book with this hotel again. Way to go [...]you lost my business.

the hotel is not fancy but very clean and the managers are very friendly. the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. the kids enjoyed being able to swim . this was great fun for the one having a birthday on this day. he really enjoyed the trip

It should be noted that this Super 8 was formerly a Comfort Inn and Suites and should not be confused with the other Super 8s in Amarillo. Both nights we stayed we had suites equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. The property and the rooms are very clean. The beds and foam pillows were some of the most comfortable we have had in motels. The family operating the property try hard to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Although it has an indoor pool I wouldn't consider this as a vacation destination but it is a good, clean, comfortable place to stop when traveling.

My husband and I were driving from San Diego to Texas and we had been driving for 12 hours. We were exhausted. Upon arrival at 11:30pm, the front counter staff was very pleasant, kind and cheery, seem to be waiting for our arrival. Our room was excellent, very clean, felt very new. The separate sitting room made it seem like a one bedroom suite. Breakfast included eggs and sausage, which was a very nice surprise. The area also felt very safe, nothing to worry about at all. Will definitely stay here again!

We have stayed there twice and it was nice and clean both times. We weren't in the room much just to sleep mainly. For the price I don't think you could do better.
