The neighborhood was nice. The house itself needs updated and was very dusty throughout. The top of the coffee pot was covered in dust and dirt. Return filters were dirty and has lint hanging out.

Unfortunately, our stay began on a very disappointing note. Upon check-in, it was immediately clear that the home had not been properly cleaned. Before we could even unpack, we spent approximately seven hours cleaning the property ourselves.The beds had not been made with clean sheets, so we had to strip all beds and wash the linens. I also had to purchase approximately 50 in cleaning supplies to make the home livable. I contacted the owner right away, provided photos, and asked if a cleaning service had been used. The owner stated she would reimburse the cleaning fee, but we have not received that reimbursement.In addition to cleanliness concerns, several maintenance issues were evident. Multiple lightbulbs were burned out, the master bedroom had no lamps, and the bathroom faucet aerator was so corroded that it sprayed water everywhere. My husband ultimately had to replace it himself. The bathroom drawers were unusable due to hair and debris inside them.While the location and potential of the home may be appealing, the lack of cleanliness and basic maintenance significantly impacted our experience. Future guests should confirm that cleaning and maintenance issues have been addressed prior to booking.

Nice, clean home in SW Amarillo, perfect for visiting family in the area. Enough space for our family of 6 and a great location to run through some nice neighborhoods. Unfortunately, the trash was full on our arrival and the sink faucets are a little crazy, but really no big deal. Would definitely stay here again.

We needed a space for our family and pets as we needed To be in town for a funeral and then travel quite a distance north from Amarillo. This house was very spacious, giving us plenty of room to spread out. When we had questions or concerns, our messages were quickly responded to.
