Just a stop over on the way to New Mexico. Great place to stay and convenient. Studio suite with kitchen. Clean. Friendly staff. Large work desk. Extra large sofa bed. Free breakfast better than average.

After driving all the way from Santa Fe, New Mexico in one day, we stayed at the Residence Inn in downtown Amarillo, and at least when I was there it was quiet, comfortable and very relaxing. We both absolutely loved our room, it was on a corner and was worth every penny we spent. Had a living room, weird bathroom layout but cool, big sunny bedroom, and it was quiet. Good value too. You just park in the garage and get your things out of the car before you go park because there is no way say if you park on the top floor of the garage to the hotel. You have to walk down the garage ramp then into the back of the hotel then back up to your room. Save a few minutes take your stuff with you when you check in! Breakfast was standard blah Marriott food, but OK. Otherwise the hotel is clean, comfortable, in a great location easy to get in and out in all directions. I would stay here again!

We travel quite a bit and hotels can be a tough situation, but the RI knows how to take care of you. Breakfast is good, lots of hot and cold options - seating is a little awkward, but we shared tables with others so it wasn't bad. Our rooms were very clean, well decorated and arranged and the full kitchen is such a great amenity. Pool and hot tub were a good size and the outdoor picnic area was a nice addition. Front desk staff was super friendly, petite blonde with glasses in housekeeping was nice and the older lady who served breakfast (loved the multi-colored scrunchies) was quick to help.

Friendly staff clean rooms but beds still a little hard but tolerable for the nights we stay there. Pool is nice and usually not to crowded. Always my place to stay when stopping in Amarillo. Good prices and love the breakfast here.

We selected this hotel and location for its two bedroom suite option. This was perfect for keeping our family together. The bedrooms are a good size with comfortable matress and pillows. We stayed on the 3rd floor, during the afternoon we had a strong smell of cigarettes coming from our bathroom. On the right side of the suite it was nasty we closed the bathroom and went to dinner. The bad smell was less once we returned, so much for a nonsmoking room when the other room next to ours are allowed to smoke.

Spent two nights at this hotel on a recent business trip to Amarillo. Keisha, at the front desk, made an already nice hotel, with a great included breakfast, even better. She was genuine, went out of her way to be helpful, offered great suggestions regarding getting around Amarillo and local restaurants, and really seemed to enjoy her job and the guests. All of the personnel were friendly, well-trained, and made my two night stay extremely enjoyable. A wonderful place to stay, not particularly close to downtown -- 10 minutes -- if that is where you need to be, but wonderful room for business travelers or small families. Pet friendly, with an indoor heated pool and hot tub, and some workout equipment in a small fitness area. And, simple but nice happy hour! Good value too!

But you could stay a lot longer. Completely furnished kitchen. Bathroom could be bigger. Just turnaround size. Nice face wipe with soap and shampoo. My computer is so secure it would not accept the free wifi and I wasn't going to pay extra for a secure network...I'll just use my phone. Convenient location close to good restaurants and shopping. Free breakfast in the a.m.

The fact that these rooms come equipped with a stovetop/operational kitchen makes it so wonderful. As someone who travels the vast majority of the year, it is the opportunity to make my own meals that I have come to miss the most. The room here is much like an apartment, in many ways, making it feel very comfortable. The bedroom is separate from the living room and kitchen area. Each room has a flat screen TV, too. In addition to the kitchen there is also access to the pool/hot tub area available until midnight for adults, outside patio and grill area, plus weeknight social hours in the lobby with free snacks and drinks. For those not inclined to making their own meals, the hotel is located near to many restaurant options and has easy access to I-40. This is a great place to stay whether for a night or on an extended visit to Amarillo.

Wonderful Stay! Great customer service that informed me on everything they had to offer as I checked in. I arrived late in the evening and that wasn't a problem to them at all. Actually when I called to inform them I would be arriving late the sweet lady on the phone was more concerned about me driving safely. She also told me to not worry about the time & they would be there whenever I arrived. Anytime I'm in Amarillo this place is my first pick. Rooms (king): Wonderful size and very clean. Great large living area and wonderful size kitchen. It had everything you could need- including a ice maker and all dish-ware. Plus large refrigerator. The bed was so comfortable. Plus the pillows and sheets were a great quality which I don't always find at hotels. *Their free breakfast was delicious. Well laid out and tons to pick from. *I stayed there by myself but this would be a great hotel for families. Tons of space.

Fairly average, older Residence Inn albeit recently renovated. Small breakfast area with unappetizing menu fare, not quickly replenished. The morning desk agent was not very friendly and we were not thanked for our patronage. There was someone else's hair on the bathroom floor that had exceptionally dirty grout. All of these things were more or less forgivable distractions of mediocrity if only we could have gotten a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the guest room A/C thermostat has been programmed by the hotel to not allow anything to be set cooler than 65 degrees. Since the thermostat was in the living room part of our suite, the bedroom was much warmer and uncomfortable. Absolutely no reason for me to return or recommend.
