Overpriced but Average Hotel

This hotel seems to be completely overpriced -- the rooms and the restaurant. I mean, $22 for an Old Fashion cocktail. Seriously?! I live in NYC and don't pay that much. I guess if they can get away with it, what can you do? But there is nothing special about this expensive hotel. Find one nearby at a lower price and you'll be just as comfortable, I'm sure.

This property appears updated and offers ample seating for guests. It is clean and smells good. The room was spacious, the temperature in the room was easy to control and the room was cold, as we prefer. The improvement can be made in the bar “porch” area. The man informed us that we couldn’t order anything because the bar closed in a half hour, and there was a person mopping the kitchen. He asked us to move to the actual bar instead of the table sine we weren’t being served anything. The next evening he said he couldn’t take cash because he didn’t set up his drawer, and didn’t realize that it was 4:30, and time to open. I didn’t like that I had no options for food during the afternoon, aside from overpriced pantry items, and there was no microwave in the room.
