This was our most terrible hotel we stayed. Rooms dirty, smelled like chlorine and mold in the whole room, mold in the shower, urin stains on the toilett-seat, filthy water heater and light switches, dead vermin at the entrance from the terrasse.
We booked into the Ibis as we have always had great rooms with our Accord membership. Very disappointed, as we were told this one had been refurbished. Our room itself had new carpet and was fine, but the bathroom was abysmal. I even asked for a mop, bucket and bleach to clean it myself before we used it, and 2nd day same thing - it hadn't even been cleaned, our footprints were all over the floor. The toilet make a noise like a cricket all night on and off, and the cleaning staff didn't seem to care less. We also reported this, plus the fact our Coffee + Sugar has not been replaced since the day we arrived - we stayed 5 nights. The reception staff went out the back, and spoke with the manager, and asked him if he wanted to come out and talk to us (we could hear this) and he said: "no its fine" - wow if he had bothered to come out and apologise maybe we wouldn't have given a 2 rating - but alas this was the 2nd time we tried to talk with him and he just couldnt be bothered Others staying there also had to move rooms 3 times at check in - 1st time there was "chicken bones" in corner of their room, 2nd time the balcony doors wouldn't lock, and 3rd time the room was ok - such a shame So we would NOT recommend this hotel to anybody unless they lift their game Restaurant - it was great, the food was great, the service was good and we ate there every night - so do recommend the restaurant 5 cars also had their windows smashed on our 2nd night, and a few small things taken - whilst this is not the fault of the hotel they didn't seem to care much about it, and only have cameras near reception - and this is a common occurrence so you would think they would install more cameras so it doesn't happen to their guests. Some guests were leaving that day, others heading out to sightsee - so all were held up for hours by the Police attending and fingerprinting etc, then they had to deal with their insurance companies etc, so not good
I'm an Accor Member and booked a room in this little gem of a place for 3 nights during the recent school holidays. I had my concerns after reading some negative reviews but have to say I was pleased with this place. It was perfectly clean and comfortable. The room was modern and well appointed. The bathroom YES could do with a renovation but it was clean, neat and tidy with no issues to report. The free continental breakfast was perfect for myself and my son with breads, cereals, fresh fruit and juice to kickstart our day. I was glad I did not pay for the hot buffet breakfast as it was not anything special. The property is an older motel style property but is perfect for travellers who need a nice clean homely place to relax and do not need luxury. Very happy with my stay! Perfect place to relax with kids. We loved the pools as well!
Weird pool near reception does not seem to be used. Other pool ok only. Refurbished rooms better.Bar and restaurant a bit chaotic but staff try hard.Fantastic Maori (NZ) bar lady.Still good value stay including free continental breakfast. 12 min walk to town for everything else.City has everything and more considering there are only 28000 permanent residents.September a great month to go.
Stay there after coming out if hospital. Staff very friendly, food great but the rooms need refurbishing. The room was reasonable clean - bathroom needs up grading - can only clean the the grout so many times - need to replace pillows very soft, but beds very comfortable. A complete refurbish of the rooms would be good.
Rooms are ok, water pressure is extremely poor, from the dark ages, they didnt make up my room saying i had privacy note up, which i didnt. Waited half hour to check in, the hotel was full and only one person at the counter doing her best! No room service as well. I wont be staying here again.
Came here on a business trip with several coworkers. I had issues with the lights in my room where the major one did not work. The power saver unit was all smashed in my room also so had to put the key in the right position to get the air-con to work. The food served at the bar however was very nice and room service was effcient
The toilet in our room blocked up second day we were there. Staff are extremely rude and arrogant. Rooms are overpriced and not nice. Breakfast is average for the price, wouldn't recommend this place if you are staying in Alice Springs.
This is a big, fairly old motel-style place, but it is in reasonable condition, clean, with pleasant staff, and offers excellent value for money. It's not far from the centre of town or the Olive Pink Botanic Gardens. Parking can be at a premium if the place is full but we always managed to find a spot within the grounds. One morning I had no hot water, but on mentioning it at reception, I received a gracious apology and a phone call was made immediately to rectify. The bathroom had a long useful bench beside the basin, something that is usually lacking in most hotel/motel accommodation and a full width mirror above. We were there for six nights and would be happy to return.
My husband and I stayed at the Ibis Styles in Alice Springs on one of the busiest weekends in Alice Springs. We could not find a room, caravan site or cabin in all of Alice Springs. We called the Ibis Styles resort and got the last room which they held for us until we got there. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and the whole area was clean and tidy and had a casual resort feel about it, We both had a steak dinner at the restaurant which was cooked to perfection. I would recommend staying at the Ibis Styles in Alice Springs
