The Space:

Villa Rocha makes for the ideal family holiday at any time of the year with its private swimming pool heating is available upon request at €175 per week, fully air-conditioned and central heating. The villa has covered terraces for outside dining, mature gardens that are fully fenced and private parking with an automatic gate for your privacy.



The property is located adjacent to Rocha Brava Village Resort near Carvoeiro. The resort has its own restaurant, cafes, bars, spa, gym, 4 tennis courts and supermarket. The local beach of Vale Centeanes with 400 meters of golden sands is just 10-minute walk away.



Villa Rocha has a comfortable open-planned lounge and dining room for 8 people, Satellite TV with English and German channels, DVD, Stereo and WiFi. The kitchen is fully equipped with a separate utility room.



The bedrooms consist of 1 double with en-suite bathroom, 2 twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a twin bedroom with an adjacent bathroom.



Carvoeiro is a fishing village halfway along the Algarve coast, about 45 minutes from Faro Airport. Over the last 15 years, grown to be a sizeable holiday resort. However, it has not lost the intrinsic charm of the place, as the development has been sympathetically done, keeping to low-rise buildings in the traditional Algarvian style. This cosmopolitan resort has a wide selection of restaurants and bars, a few night clubs, boutiques, banks, chemist, local facilities and fantastic beaches. 



Tourist Tax came into force on 13 April 2024, in accordance with Regulation no. 425/2024, published in Diário da República no. 72 of 12/04/2024. The tourist tax charge is €2 per night during the high season (April to October) and €1 during the rest of the year (November to March) per person, up to a maximum of seven straight nights for all tourists aged 13 or older. The tax is to be paid either prior or upon arrival.

Nice villa in a good location, near bars and restaurants

Villa Rocha is a spacious villa with a well equipped kitchen with lots of crockery and cutlery. Everything in the kitchen worked well. The lounge area could be improved, the TV claims to have English channels, but we could only find 2, one of which was for kids. No Netflix or similar available. Normally we would not have been interested in TV, however it was cool at night so a little TV would have been nice. We could not get the stereo to work. Three of the four bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms plus a family shower room for the fourth bedroom. All of the bath mats were extremely slippery on the tiled bathroom floors, stepping out of the shower was risky. The bed frame in the main bedroom is very creaky and could not be used. The other beds are all single and are very firm, but do not creak. Washing and drying facilities are very good. The outside area is very pleasant and private with lots of shade and plenty of sun beds. Some of the sun beds need to be replaced, as the covers are loose on the frames and do not offer enough support. The outside barbeque was OK, but could have been cleaner. There are 3 nice restaurants and a mini market within 2 minutes walk. Other restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
