Nice and clean. Very friendly staff. Good food variety. Amaaaaaaazing beach with white sand ♡. No fish in shallow water ♡ Jet ski available for rent. Need more entertainment, bike rental, cinema, shows, room wifi and additional water sports.
This hotel is out of this world. Coming from Dubai with its 5-star glamorous hotels has set our standards really high, I must say, but to say the least this one was a truly pleasant surprise. It is the perfect destination for a family looking for peace, serenity and a beautiful scene. The beach is beautiful, the rooms are clean and well-maintained, the food is delicious and the staff exemplify true hospitality whether it is the room service attendants, the reservations team or the restaurant staff. Everything about our holiday was just perfect. Thank you to the team at Rixos for making our stay a truly memorable one and a special thank you to Sara Basheer (duty manager) for going the extra mile to make sure we have a spotless experience.
when you pay a minimum of 4k EGP per night you expect to be staying with a selected community, which isn't the case with Rixos as they are having a medical conference for doctors and their families and its "Gamasa" Style. Everyone is enjoying their time staring at us as we entertain them as if we come from a different planet. Shame on Rixos for having such a thing during september, not worth the 5 hours drive or the money. I'm definitely not coming here again
First this is a true five star hotel. Generally it is overpriced during high season. The hotel is closed several months in winter. Perhaps that is why it is overpriced. I have been there in September, a medium season with fair price. However in such a luxury hotel you expect no fault irrespective of the season. I have to say our stay was generally good. However as a hotel reviewer I have the following remarks. 1. The room is nice. The reception was considerate to allocate a room complying with our request. The air condition was shut down and we had to call and wait the maintenance to fix it. Bulbs of the shade lamp and the bathroom were burnt off. 2. The bath tub is a problem. It has no slipping mat. No hand rails inside to grab to avoid slippery bath tub. A short glass shield results in spilling water during shower. No enough hangers for towels for two people close to the sink. No enough facility for your clothes while showering. 3. To sit and watch the sea view is not available anywhere. The sand of the beach is a man-made with higher elevation at the water front, thus little further you don't see the sea. Only at the so -called suit lounge you have sea view. However we have been dissmesd from the lounge since we were a regular room occupant. Please put a sign indicating " only for suites " , thus to avoid embarrassment of other guests. Around the swimming pool you must sustain all day noisy loud music of a monotonous DJ. 4. About food. Breakfast is excellent in all respects. Dinner is mediocre. No recepies, it is repetitive without imagination. Four nights, shawarma, kofta, molokhia, roast chicken....etc. you are not sure they are of the day or the day before. We had to have bread and cheese as dinner. However excellent fruits was always available. 5. We reserved a H/B plan with a minibar filled once upon arrival as reservation email said. It never happened without apology. Never mind it is not a big issue. 6. Please start night animation little earlier and on time. Indicate your program in advance or let the reception know about it beforehand. After all we thank you for our good stay and be sure we shall be back.
we booked 2 connecting rooms on Aug. 23 till 28, 2017 first bad impression was the check in procedures which take long time, the rooms have a bathtub while we request a shower cabinet, the lamp inside the toilet was not work, we spend long time also for change it, swimming pools was slippy which is dangerous, there was no depth marks on the swimming pools, no life guard, many guests use normal clothes on the swimming pool, beach was very bad.
Simply the best hotel in north coast with all the meaning of luxurious amazing food, services, staff ,location , beach, .....etc. don't hesitate to make Rixos your first choice wherever you go. I had the same fabulous experience when I visited Rixos Sharm and Rixos sea gate. If you didn't visit Rixos hotels in Egypt it means you missed the real Egyptian hospitality.
